I'll probably be flipping between CNN, NBC, and probably PBS if they have coverage.

It Trump leads by 77k, and there are 344k left to count, then Biden will have to win (344-77)/344 = 77.6, so he'll need to win 78% of the remaining mail-in votes to win. Since mail-ins have been favoring Democrats by about 75%, it'll be very close.Does anybody know what the situation in North Carolina is? From the best I can tell, Trump is up by 76,712 votes with 94% of votes counted. Based on the total votes so far (5,387,496), that leaves about 343,882 votes still to be counted. From the looks of it, 100% precincts have reported, so are all of the votes left to be counted mail-in ballots?
If Biden can capture 61% of the outstanding votes to be counted, he can still win that state, it appears.
The bigger issue is are there enough absentee ballots in North Carolina to help Cunningham. He trails Tillis by about 100,000 whereas Biden trails Trump by 75,000.
Unlikely. I often wonder why people with skeletons in their closet like Cunnigham's affair run for office, or at least why don't they leak that info themselves early in the cycle so that it doesn't have the bombshell effect. Just stupid hubris.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying, the fact that reality stares them in the face and they still vote for the same for the next four years it’s just a big mystery to me. Knowing that if any of these right wing minded people lost their jobs they would have to go and apply for Social Security which that in itself is a socialist program something that they are totally against it’s just kind of funny in a sad way. Not realizing that everything this country has done to improve the quality of life that we have now is due mostly for the thinking of left-wing #LiberalMinds,You know Science and stuff, clean air, clean water, safety features in vehicles, equal rights for everyone which by the way is in the wording of our constitution.Regardless of the presidential outcome, the slim margin of the election certainly means that nearly half of America supported another term for Donald Trump as president.
It means something. What, I'm not yet sure. I don't want to be flip about it. People I know and respect, even people I love voted for Trump - some of whom because they simply cannot stomach key Democrat policies (on tax, business regulation, the social 'safety net', etc.). These things go to their core identity and even though they would agree that Donald Trump's rhetoric and policies (in some areas) have genuinely damaged the United States, and that he has terribly mismanaged the Covid crisis, they still choose Trump over the Democrat. And it's always going to be that way.
(I just read this)
Biden has now received more votes for president than any other candidate in U.S. election history, officially surpassing former President Barack Obama's 2008 popular vote numbers around 8 a.m. ET on Wednesday.
The news follows reports on Tuesday night that the 2020 election was shaping up to have the highest voter turnout since 1908, when 65 percent of eligible Americans voted, The New York Times reports. The country was on track for around 160 million votes this year, which would put the eligible turnout rate at around 67 percent.
I thought it was literally just 3 months ago, not some 3-5 year old affair?
A lot of talking heads/social media pundits effectively do the campaigning for Trump. Fox News and similar off-shoots and social influencers was a calculated plan on the part of conservatives. It has paid off exponentially as time has gone on.
I know these vote totals for Trump seem discouraging to the soul of our nation, but i kind of disagree. Trump was the ultimate used car salesman selling the hottest car on the market(fear). Biden was a Subaru salesman selling reliability. The Subaru beat the Dodge Hellcat.
Biden is selling something closer to a 1970 Ford Ranch Wagon, but I agree with the analogy.
That's right, Dodges will always leave you stranded. They had to go to Italy for reliability...I would say like an ‘86 Honda Accord LX... or a 90s model Toyota Tacoma, if you’re being generous.. but both are better than the Dodge.
