    Right now they are both ~10 million votes under their 2016 totals (substituting Biden for Clinton, of course), and this turnout was a yuge. There are still a ton of votes out there.

    I honestly think the Democrats needs to revamp their platform and install a new generation of leadership in the DNC. Maybe take a little can't beat em then join em tact. But beyond that. :shrug: That's gonna be a tough nut to crack.

    And this should be the case even if Biden wins.

    I guess the question is, and this is an honest question, does a more progressive candidate get more votes in rural white America or with Cubans (Florida)? Because that is what is happening here.

    Yeah but my guns are super cuddly and I don't get too many excuses to take them out of the safe.

    But let me stop playing around so much, yes this is all kinda expected but the talking heads don't take into account American stupidity and Trump's ability to exploit it. He'll claim victory shortly with the map looking the way it looks now, the CoT(Cult of trump) will see/believe the victory and any changes will be taken as election stealing & then.........

    It's Trump in a landslide with a candidate to perceived to be well left of Biden imo. I could be wrong but nothing about these results indicates that to me.
     
    Ok I am feeling a bit better. Biden sitting at 209 according to Politco - the called Virginia for Biden.
    He is going to win Minnesota and Arizona (just called one down)- this first pick up by either candidate- and that puts him at 230. Give him Nevada and Hawaii we are sitting at 240. That means he “just” needs PA (260) and either Michigan (276) or Wisconsin (270) or Iowa and Maine (272)

    that means this whole forking thing comes down to PA. Philly has Barely started counting.

    They need to figure out how to get the rural votes...if that means toning down their fervent obsession with abortions to tilt more "Christian" then I'm all for it.

    I'm not saying run on repealing Roe v Wade but convey a human stance on it and stop sounding like a bunch of serial abortionists using medical reasons as an "excuse*
     
    I doubt Biden loses PA does he?

    I'd be all for running another left wing populist after Trump's gutted this country of civil liberties. I wish I could say the majority of Americans wouldn't vote for a racist, but here we are..
