I'll probably be flipping between CNN, NBC, and probably PBS if they have coverage.

Just wanted to bounce this off you guys for a second, how does this sound Attorney General Barack Obama
Barry? Is this his brotherDefinitely not the first time ive heard it, and it sounds good.
But i like Supreme Court Justice Barry Obama better.
Any Supreme Court nominee Biden gets needs to be 30 years old, tops.Definitely not the first time ive heard it, and it sounds good.

Biden won independents by 14 points per CNN. I think Biden will listen to moderate Rs, but the narrative from them today has been “we need to hold GA to prevent socialism.” They won’t take a day to be congratulatory.Trump won a higher percentage of Republican votes than he did in 2016. John Kasich, the Lincoln Project grift crew and the entire Republican Party aren't owed a damn thing.

Election maps are very meaningless and misrepresentative graphics when it comes to understanding what people actually think about specific policies.... 2) In terms of progressives and where this country stands, I don't think anyone can look at the map of the last two Presidential Elections ...
It's only laughable if one assumes that AOC is not also critical of the money that was spent by Democrats in those states. She can be critical of both and criticizing one does not equal endorsing the other. The above tweet is particularly ... considering the hundreds of millions of dollars the DNC ... in Kentucky, South Carolina, etc. Money that could have been used more effectively in Alaska and Montana and, perhaps, Iowa.
I hope we don't see a Kamala/Pete ticket, because that would be a full on corporatist ticket. You may very well be right, to me Joe was a far more appealing candidate 8 or 12 years ago, this year he seemed to have lost a step physically and mentally , which is one reason i preferred other candidates early on.. To be clear though, he’s still light years ahead of Trump, to be sure.. but if he serves out his full term, i still think we see a Kamala/Pete ticket in 2024.. unless the powers that be get skittish about a “black lady/gay guy” ticket and find a different white guy to run with her.. Somehow i think those labels will mean even less in 2024 though, than they mean even today.
Only looking at the election map with colors, no stats, tell me how the voters split their votes in each of those states. You can't and that's the problem with looking at those maps. They create a false belief that since the states is one color everyone in that state is a lock-step monolith. That is not reality. Those maps are useless to understanding the individuals that live in those states. The 2020 map certainly shows that states like Georgia, North Carolina and even Florida or Texas are in play with the right messaging and outreach. Kentucky and South Carolina will never be in play be it four years from now or forty years from now. This aligns with conventional wisdom re: demographics. You can see a lot of younger/liberal voters moving to places like the Atlanta suburbs, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas (especially Texas). Kentucky and South Carolina (nothing against those states) are not really hotbeds for immigration from progressives/liberals.
This is too good to save for when/if they call it!

“Gets”??
Since Trump and his cronies have already PACKED the Supreme Court, by refusing Obama’s nominee a hearing with almost a year left in his term, then jamming thru Amy Barrett less than a week before the most recent election- there are simply no rules anymore.. the Republicans did it to themselves.
Biden needs to expand the Court by 3 or 4 justices to balance it out, of course A LOT of that will depend on how the House and Senate wind up going.
America is actually progressive leaning on an issue by issue basis, because the majority of Americans are caring and fair minded people. Americans just get confused and tripped up by all the intentionally deceptive and misleading labeling of people and things done by people that just want to manipulate the majority into doing things that benefit a minority of us at the expense of the majority of us.
It's a communication problem, not a policy issue.
You can tell how the votes split by looking at the tallies. You can also look at the popular vote which isn't that wide of a gap. What am I missing? Trump won by a paper thin margin in 2016, Biden's margin this year was not significantly larger when it came to the mixed/battleground states. You cannot just declare this country to be akin to Western Europe socially and then ignore the 50% that voted for Trump.Only looking at the election map with colors, no stats, tell me how the voters split their votes in each of those states. Yes, I have which is exactly why I see him that way. He's a snake in the grass as far as I'm concerned. You may have a point with Kamala, but have you researched Pete or listened to him at all? Not sure why you’d hang a label like that on him if you have... Honestly though, if they *are* a little too moderate, that will greatly help in a general election.
He was never going to expand the Supreme Court. Most I think he would have done is had the House and Senate create additional district and appellate seats and nominate and confirm a bunch of lower court judges. Anyway, without control of the Senate, he won't be able to do any of that.
I agree communication is crucial but so is the messenger. AOC is not a good messenger. She honestly acts bratty a lot of times. And yes, there are many GOP politicians that do, too, but that only means both parties have annoying personalities not particularly fit to be statesmen and woman.

That's an entirely subjective opinion, so neither of our opinions are right or wrong on that, they're just different.I agree communication is crucial but so is the messenger. What you're missing is that knowing who a person voted for doesn't tell you why they voted for them. It's a mistake to think that everyone votes for a candidate for the same reason. You can tell how the votes split by looking at the tallies. I totally can see why people would want to write off that 50%, although actual Trumpers are closer to 30% than 50%. The Republicans need to have a reckoning about doing away with the Trumper mentality. It's gonna hurt a lot short term and probably will take a decade to lop that group off, but it needs to be done. The Trumpers are the reason I left the party. I could maybe return, but not until they're gone, and the platform doesn't cater to them.
You mean they need to go back to covertly catering to Trumpers instead of the overt catering that they have been doing more recently?
