It's all the property of Twitter. Even if he starts deleting them Twitter will still have a record of them on their servers.

And turning out in greater numbers than those who vote for want to be authoritarians is how you prevent authoritarianism. We dodged a bullet. We need to fix the weaknesses in our defenses now that the weaknesses have been exposed.

I'd argue that the weaknesses have been exposed at the very least, since Gore vs Bush. It's going to take a big effort to get those changes through, I would think.
