I'll probably be flipping between CNN, NBC, and probably PBS if they have coverage.

Mueller made it very clear in his report and testimony that the only reason he wasn't recommending charging Trump is because of department of justice guidelines saying you don't charge a sitting president.Serious question: I wonder if some form of criminal charges are prepared and ready to be filed, but for the fact the defendant is President.

Here's a radical thought - maybe he could actually do his job over the next few months? After all, there's still a pandemic growing increasingly out of control.FTR, I’d be golfing too. He’s probably going to golf even more now.
But the GOP hasn't lost power completely if they retain control of the Senate, which looks likely. There is an opportunity for compromise governance with the welfare of the country in mind, but that depends on McConnell and company being good faith actors, which I have little confidence in.Kasich's showing he's just another politician. He was asked on CNN about what he thought of Biden winning and he turned it into a moment to promote the platform he's going to run on in 2024. He was quick to throw out how Biden couldn't give into the socialists on the left. He threw out all of the other dismissive, trigger labels for policies he doesn't agree with while preaching about the need to end divisiveness and come together.
The idea that Biden and the Democrats need to compromise with the Republicans and the center right is laughable. It's absurd how Republicans and the "center right" only talk about the need to compromise after they've lost power.

True, and I expect both parties to put on the full court press to win those races. It'll be interesting. The Senate isn't as decided as it may seem. Alaska and North Carolina still have enough ballots out to swing both races and there are two runoffs in Georgia. There's still a chance for a Democrat majority or at least a 50-50 split with Harris as the tie breaker.

Georgia is about to get more press exposure than 28-3.
I'm an advocate of good faith compromise, like you seem to be. The thing is Kasich, Santorum, McConnell and most of the other Republicans who are now saying that Biden is obligated to compromise and work with the Republicans to heal the country are coming from a privileged place of power and are just trying to protect that power. What they are really saying is that Biden and the Democrats are obligated to get their permission on everything and only do things that make them happy. Their idea of compromise is "do what I want how I want or I'm not going to let you do anything."But the GOP hasn't lost power completely if they retain control of the Senate, which looks likely. And conversely, several progressive, incumbent House Democrats who's re-elections were safe ran door knocking operations to get out the vote for Biden and were critical to his winning in swing states, so all this "progressives hurt Biden" talk is very short sighted and doesn't grasp the big picture.Trump won a higher percentage of Republican votes than he did in 2016. John Kasich, the Lincoln Project grift crew and the entire Republican Party aren't owed a damn thing.
