I'll probably be flipping between CNN, NBC, and probably PBS if they have coverage.

The original, of course
You must have been looking at Georgia. Biden's up 22,657 in Nevada right now and the vast majority of ballots left to be counted are in Clark County where Las Vegas is which leans Democrat.Yeah Trump only won in 2016 by an average of 25k votes in three states... But wow this Biden win- if he wins- is gonna be razor thin... just saw where he’s leading in NV (i think) by like 4K votes, out of however many million votes they cast.. it’s insane, and the Electoral College has GOT to go.

Absolutely. How much of a gap between the popular vote and the EC are we going to tolerate?
It's government by the People, not the Empty Land.
Trump could have won this election by 50,000 votes and lost the popular vote by 6+ million votes. Time for a new system.
I voted for it in Colorado. Even if we can't get the popular vote, at least change the EC system to a proportional system per state instead of winner take all. We'll never be able to get rid of the EC. We desperately need the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact to go into effect.
Proportional by population, not I repeat, not by congressional districts.I voted for it in Colorado. Even if we can't get the popular vote, at least change the EC system to a proportional system per state instead of winner take all.

I want to get an actual thread going on it once the election stuff dies down, but yes to both.
It’s absurd someone can lose the popular vote and win the election. Once, ok, maybe that’s a fluke, but not multiple times. Then you have Biden, who will probably have at least a 5 million popular vote edge, sweating it out.
If Republicans can’t win without it, maybe they should appeal to more people.
The EC is the closest thing the republicans have Gerrymandering, this is the only way they can win the presidency.
