Figured we should start a separate thread on the arrests and those involved in the storming of the Capitol. I know it has been talked about in the other thread a lot, but for the ones who just want to follow the ones arrested and/or charged, this will be an easier way to see updates on the investigations.

I still love and respect the flag, warts and all. I just choose not to associate any part of the flag with those idiots. They committed treason and they have desecrated the flag and everything it stands for imo.

I remember back when Obama was President, Republicans all over Facebook said that there should be an Admendment to the Constitution that said you must have served in the Military to be President. But those for some reason shut up quick when Trump decided to run..

For MAGA, the Constitution is the Second Amendment - that's it. Any "love of the Constitution" is purely synonymous with "protect gun rights" . . . there's nothing more to it.

The rest of it, they either detest (such as the criminal rights stuff) or purely misunderstand (e.g. First Amendment).

I understand where you’re coming from, my problem is that in my neighborhood the same people that are now flying just the flag are the same people that had the flag and Trump stickers and Trump flags all over their vehicles in yards not too long ago. That’s probably the main reason that I can’t look at that flag the same way anymore however when this corksoaker goes to jail I’m getting me a flag for my truck
