Every elementary school teacher I know calls their students either "my children" or "my babies". And parents want that, they want somebody that's going to love and look out for their children as much as they do at that young age when leaving them at school.

Well, to be fair, this administration has really helped with the republicans winning back the house and senate. Voters going to vote. Democracy is not in danger just because your party was in power, failed and now the voters want to try something different. Actually, that is democracy.

No, that’s not a problem. The problem is what it says in the tweet.

The Trump Rs are preparing to have states throw out their popular election results and substitute the R candidate and certify them. They’re saying they will do it they’re not even trying to hide it. So if the D candidate wins, the R legislatures in certain swing states are preparing to overturn the election and certify the R candidate.

Then, if the House and Senate are under R control they will also certify the election with the fake results and poof we no longer live in a democracy. They tried hard to do it in 2020. They will try again and it will work if Rs are in control.

I totally disagree with the poster I quoted.
When talking to each other we never say "my baby" or "my babies".
I say "my students" or at times I'll refer to the total group as "my kids"
For example, "I better go. My kids will be reporting to my room any minute."
Even the kindergarten teachers would never refer to their students as "babies".

I also hear "my kids" a lot, which is basically the same as "my children". Maybe it's a Texas or Southern thing. People are just more "familiar" that way down here. The be clear, I'm mostly talking about young elementary school children.

Or maybe it was when you support small businesses through the pandemic, so that they can pick up where they left off quickly. This is something that both administrations did correctly.

Oh, as a small business owner, I missed that part. I have noticed the huge amount of theft from the larger corporations with attorneys and accountants teams that claim most of the funds while the mom and pop businesses can't get in the paperwork in time before all the funds are exhausted, it was almost as if that was intended.

Oh, as a small business owner, I missed that part. I have noticed the huge amount of theft from the larger corporations with attorneys and accountants teams that claim most of the funds while the mom and pop businesses can't get in the paperwork in time before all the funds are exhausted, it was almost as if that was intended.

My husband’s small business had zero trouble getting two PPP loans that were both forgiven. One from the time Trump was in office and one from the time Biden was in office. They were very small, we made a real effort to only take what we absolutely had to have. The second one was smaller than the first. I did hear about fraud and I’m sure there was, we just didn’t experience any problems.

The question voters ask themselves at election time is: "Am I better off during this administration compared to the previous administration?"
