Considering all the stuff you guys posted about Trump, it's ironic that the same kind of stuff is now off limits for Biden. Very predictable
It’s not off limits, but you display a tiresome hypocrisy that’s all.

As predictable as your so called libertarian self ignoring what Ron DeSantis is doing in Florida to private companies? $100 says you pull the lever for him in 2024 if Trump is not running.

I won't take that bet because I will 100% vote for him, Trump or not.

What is he doing to private companies?

He has been very active in dictating to private companies what they can and cannot do. What they can and cannot say in their training programs. He is trying to control them in ways that actual socialists in this country can only dream of.

Some tidbits from the debate about DeSantis’ plan to punish Disney:

Are you saying, asking a billion dollar, world wide corporation and its board members who make millions a year to pay their fair share of taxes and not have a loop hole is bad? The taxpayers would see a gain of 10s of millions dollars from Disney? Imagine what the citizens of Florida can do for infrastructure or healthcare in their state. Why are the tax payers asked to take up slack for a billion dollar global company?

Well, if what I am reading is correct, the way you have characterized it sounds fine, but isn’t close to the reality of the situation. And I freely admit I have no specialized knowledge of this. But from what I have gathered, the way Disney’s deal is structured would leave local taxpayers on the hook for the bonds that were granted, and also on the hook for fire and police protection on Disney grounds. One estimate was an additional 2k for every taxpayer in two FL counties.

This sorry episode illustrates what is wrong with DeSantis. He’s clearly pissed off that Disney dared to oppose one of his pet laws, so he just shoots from the hip and is trying to ram this through the legislature very quickly without considering who would really be hurt. We don’t need more narcissistic leaders who only care about themselves and their political ambitions and care nothing about doing what is best for their people.

Maybe he could have come up with a better way to structure the proposed law? Maybe he could just allow someone to disagree with him without declaring war? I don’t know, he seems reckless and self-centered to me.

I see you are a fan of Bernie Sanders' tax platform!

If I was a colleged aged voter who became a single issue voter that voted for Biden because he said during the campaign he would cancel some student debt from loans. I would not vote for dem's unless action was taken before the midterms. Part of me feels like he's engaging in an attempt to string those voters along with "talk about cancelling student debt" or "plans to cancel some student debt" only to pay it lip service after the midterms conclude whilst doing nothing. He knows things aren't going well right now with the younger crowd and his party absolutely needs this vote badly.
