    Biden has actually had really good appointments, here is a case where both Rs and Manchin combined in service to dark money and killed a really good, qualified candidate’s appointment. It’s such a shame.

    The Vice President is an elected post, not a Presidential appointment.

    One votes for them joined together as a ticket, but each one has their own independent role in getting elected.

    Harris pulled her own weight during that election. She may have even helped to pull the elder Biden over some of the steeper humps. She's outstanding in that way.

    Where did I say that? Nowhere that’s where.

    This is logic: limiting a pool of candidates (based on any factor, not just the ones we mention here) absolutely does NOT make it “impossible” (your word) to choose the “best candidate” for a position. And again, “best candidate” is a misnomer as in most instances hundreds of candidates are qualified, even after the limiting of candidates.

    Logically, your statement “By eliminating 50% of the pool for a position are picking the best person? Impossible.” means the same as “if we pick from only women, the best candidate can never be picked” which even more succinctly means “it is impossible for the best person to be a woman.”

    Maybe you didn’t mean that… but it is EXACTLY the meaning of what you actually wrote.

    Everyone realizes the job growth is because the government made people stay home and paid people to not work during a global pandemic, right?
     
    Everybody realizes that inflation is global and due to pent up demand due to a global pandemic, right?

    So DeSantis shouldn’t take credit for his job growth, like he did here?
