I lay there with my eyes closed whenever I'm listening to a podcast or audiobook. I don't see why it's so strange that Biden would close his eyes while listening to someone speak. It's not like they were in a one-on-one conversation and he dozed off out of nowhere. I can't believe ANYONE thinks this is something that warrants discussion.

Ted Cruz is a jackass, but he highlights how clueless Garland is on this issue.

Another made up bullshirt issue on the right, tailor made for their voters to lap up into the culture wars.

So let's take stock here.

1.) The Republican political establishment and conservative media empire turn school mask and other Covid safety measures into a battleground at school board meetings across the country for political gain. Their voters go right along with them (as typical).

2. ) Some republican operatives that happen to be parents in Louden County see an opening to then push their CRT narrative into the forefront because they don't like diversity and inclusion measures. Of course, conservative media and the politicians follow suite because they know it will gen up the base.

3.) This creates even more conflict at school board meeting across the country with the accompanying lies, conspiracy theories, increasingly threatening language and threatening actions.

4.) Independent, quasi-republicans become "concerned" about what's being taught at schools and "parental rights."

5.) The AG steps in, after many threats and concern from school board members/administrators/teachers over their safety, and says to his deputies to make sure that laws aren't being violated and that threats are not growing around the country (a justified concern given everything we've seen).

6.) Ted Cruz and rightwing media turn these activist parents into martyrs (right in line with the right wing playbook).

7.) Independent, quasi-republicans are still concerned and turning to Youngskin because he will ban CRT on his first day in office, even though that's not something that's even taught in Virginia schools.

Well, at least Trump never got busted taking a nap during a boring lecture because he was exhausted from participating in so much of the G20 Summit. Trump would never get tired. He'd skip all the events that didn't feature him and would go smoke huge shards of glass with Vlad instead in the men's room. I bet you it was a total blast that time the Crown Prince from Saudi Arabia walked in on them while they were getting zooted and then all three of them started tweaking together and stayed up all night making plans to create world peace. They even held hands and sang Imagine. When Trump was tweaking his tots off, his orange makeup started melting and dripping all over his suit, so he undid his tie and tied it around his forehead like a headband and that way only the tie got painted orange with meth sweat.

Anyone who's in the Trump Club and criticizes this video but didn't care that Trump would routinely skip the majority of the event and spend the time he was forced to attend by insulting our allies, sweet talking our enemies, pushing old women around, and having secret, no records kept (none, none at all) meetings with people like Vladimir Putin like it was something that he learned from presidents who came before him and a totally normal thing to be doing, can go take a quick nap themselves.

Trump literally got more and more embarrassing on the international scene as his presidency went on. At first, he was just rude to Merkel and would do things like ripping an SBD while posed for a picture of international hot shots. By the end, you were hoping and praying that he'd start skipping more and more of the summits so there would be less of a chance of him screwing something up permanently.

(I've got to give Europe a tip of the cap for putting up with Trump in the manner in which they did and not holding it/him against us to this day. Fortunately, they could see that his allure was total BS and that he wouldn't last long in American politics - did he have to come so close to another term though?)

I know, I think a tip of the cap to the Europeans are in order too. UK Parliament held ole Biden in contempt and the French pulled their ambassadors. Shoring up those ally relations. That really showed the Trumpster.
