The agent reported the incident to the EEOC.

    Only the best racist for this administration. He definitely has a hatred for Americans of all colors. Ask the folks in Waco and Ruby Ridge.

    If you listen closely, you can hear a lot of gun being sold because of this stupid statement (Mr. China Spy Swallwell also said the same thing).

    So, a group of dolts that wander past security of the capital (how many firearms were present? 1?) and that almost topples our government but at the same time, if us peasants get out of line, then the government will just nuke our hometowns. Sounds like Mr. Human rights right there. Loving all this unity.

    Yea, if you don't get his point, then you aren't trying.

    If the people are having to take up arms against government oppression, then your AR-15 isn't going to cut it.

    Afghanistan and Vietnam holding off invading armies isn't the same thing as a government facing an existential threat in it's own territory.

    All of the arguments made by the gun cultists fall apart with a little bit of logic, but now we got idiots saying Biden was suggesting he is going to nuke civilians.

    The American citizenry would crush the Armed Forces if they became tyrannical. Problem is, who're they going to terrorize? Straight, white Christians? No, of course not, that's who runs the Armed Forces. So the very people who're so all-fired intent on resisting tyranny would actually be helping it. Cheering it on. Baking' them freakin' pies.

    It just depends on how many the tyrannical government was willing to kill.

    If a tyrannical government wanted to kill everyone who opposed it without concern for collateral damage, it could easily do it and there wouldn't be anything we or our second amendment could do to stop it.

    The entire thought experiment is ridiculous, but the only reason we have to entertain it is because of people who cling to the second amendment as some sort of protection against tyranny.

    It isn't the 1780s anymore.
     
    It also all assumes the military would back a tyrannical government. The military is comprised of people. They aren't robotic. It's easy to convince them some dude in Afghanistan or Iraq is their enemy. It would be a lot harder to convince them to drop bombs in Chicago or the 5th ward of New Orleans. There will be some that will follow, sure. However, I'd argue the number is around 30% that would actually follow unlawful orders to murder American citizens.

    There is a reason that 100% of all tyrannical governments openly supports and advances the disarm of the population. Then you have this geriatric president mumble something into his oatmeal about nukes when talking about citizens. Way to sell it!

    This is why there is the defund and ACAB movement. Local police forces are not as susceptible to the authoritarian left playbook. At this time at least. I unfortunately see that changing in time unless the push back from the citizen grows at it's current rate.

    There is also reason why functioning democratic governments restrict the type of weapons their citizen can buy, have strong regulations for gun manufacturers and have requirements like training and registration. Because they don't want their countries turning into 3rd world countries controled by war lords.

    We're not far from that here in the US with some of these paramilitary militias running around.
