Messaging is the main problem for the Biden admin on everything. Immigration, the economy, and everything else.

It is because Biden at this point in his life isn't capable of being a good messenger, and that isn't something that a President can really delegate to someone else.

Yeah, the problem is people saying inflation is coming down often aren't acknowledging that prices are still going up, just not at the same rate as before. Until prices actually come back down some, meaning deflation, people who are already suffering because of inflation still aren't able to recover.
The key is disposable income. We haven't had deflation in nearly 100 years, so inflation is normal. What people want is for their incomes to keep up. Disposable income has been going up every month, and soon will be close to a record by the election.

    Hopefully that will change minds.

I agree. He should replace Karine Jean-Pierre. She isn't a great messenger, and that is one of the most critical tasks this year.

I mean yea, it is the party too, but the President really is really the one who is responsible for that.

Obama would have given a ton of speeches telling us all the good things that are happening. Either Biden just isn't capable, or they are too afraid to let him try.

I think she should go, but i don't think a new Press Secretary is going to solve the issue.

I know we hate to give the Trumper's ammo by bringing up his age, but we all know that Biden has a deficiency here.

No. It made it likely that any prosecutor who desired to make a name for himself could criminally charge any doctor for the loss of an embryo. Which happens in nature more times than you get a successful pregnancy. It’s monstrous, and evil.

This is such a dishonest take. I shouldn’t be surprised any longer by the treachery of men who want to control women, but it still does. To target doctors and nurses who are trying to help couples have children is the act of radical extremists.
Ok, so you agree, the ruling did not make IVF illegal.

If the true intent was to strengthen safeguards, policies and procedures that ruling could have been worded a million different ways
Why would it. It said in plain terms what the law in Alabama is. It was an state court, not a federal court.
Again, the ruling did not make it illegal, the clinics that were not run professionally halted due to council from their legal. Is it your take that the courts should force clinics to provide a service they don't feel they can safely provide within the law? No need to answer, the alt-left does believe the government should force anyone to do anything their ideology demands.

Ok, so you agree, the ruling did not make IVF illegal.

There is no meaningful difference between it being illegal, and it being so onerous that the providers decide to not offer it.

I agree the messaging on immigration has been poor, and Biden has been slow to act, but the message today and the rest of this year should become clear that a solution is on the table for the House to act upon and he will sign it. He can campaign on the merits of that bill. He should admit to being slow, but also be clear that his administration has a solution. He should also reinforce that legal avenues are limited without passing the law. If he fails to do that, then it will be a problem.
Yeah, I'm curious to see how he frames it, that is, if the idiot RWNJs actually let him speak.

Not sure how disposable income is going up when credit card debt is going up at an even faster rate. That disposable income figure is a bit of a mirage imo.

It's less than a 100 billion in disposable income increase.

I don't know how they measure that, so it could just mean that Zuck and Elon got 100B richer over that time period.

Right, that's the concern about the disposable income figure. If you're reasonably wealthy, you're gonna be banking plenty more disposable income than someone who is in the middle or lower middle class. That's pretty much why I contend it's a mirage. Middle and lower class are still adding more debt than ever. And that's a real problem that isn't being addressed.

The juxtaposition between Trump and Biden on messaging and all is pretty interesting.. Trump is an old man actively on the decline yet he can give one of his rabble rousing speeches full of screw ups and they'll continue to just eat that shirt up. It's so unhinged with him - like it's always been -that it masks, at least to some extent I think, his decline.

Whereas with Biden the decline is more readily apparent (and is more readily acknowledged on the left than is Trump's decline by the right) and his team is limiting the number of opportunities he has before an audience because they're worried he'll screw up and get picked apart over it.

It puts the Democrats at a disadvantage, no doubt about it.

yea, Trump has never been mentally fit.

Biden just isn't mentally fit anymore.

    It isn't the same thing.

The "Discontent Crowd" seem determined to complain themselves into another Trump presidency.

If I were Biden, I'd just ignore all the noise and continue doing the job of the presidency. If he loses, he'll go off into the sunset anyway and live the rest of his life. The "Discontent Crowd" can then turn their animus to Trump's march into authoritarianism as their rights are stripped away and everything goes to hell.

For me it's still a very easy decision to vote for Biden. I would quite literally vote for an inanimate object over Trump if that was an option, so.. warts and all, Biden it is.
