    I read the other day that at this point in Reagan’s first term, his approval rating was similar to Biden’s right now. And we know now that election turned out.

    Trump is sounding more and more crazy every time he talks. People will recoil from him when they start actually listening.

    You know how football teams talk about "Bulletin board material"? All the Biden team has to do is play selected parts of the disturbingly many Trump speeches where he sounds completely deranged and senile.
     
    I don’t think the media is paying full attention to polls, nor are voters. We aren’t getting the whole story on the polls we are getting what will bring the most clicks.

    Iirc, legislation or executive order by Trump allowed for the sale of domestically produce oil to be sold on the open market. So, oil companies can do that instead of keeping U.S. produced oil in the the U.S.

    So Biden is about Oil production and drilling now? That is a new development. It is either that or this is smoke and mirrors?

    On the latest transaction, Sunoco Partners Marketing & Terminals LP sold 900,000 barrels to the SPR, while Macquarie Commodities Trading US LLC and Phillips 66 Co (PSX.N) each sold 600,000 barrels, the Energy Department said on its website.

    Trump permitted domestically produced oil to be sold on the open market. The U.S. is currently the largest producer in the world. in addition, fracking costs more than regular production so higher prices for crude are necessary.

    Well, we have now established a couple of things. You don’t know anything about oil production and the Reserve. And you don’t know how to read cross tabs in a poll.
     
    Some people just have to believe what they feel they need to believe. The US is producing more oil than ever right now. This is a fact. The oil loaned from the strategic reserve is being returned as prices are lowering and the quantity of oil on the market is increasing. Also, after selling the oil at a high price, it is now being replaced with oil a bit more than half the price, here again getting profit for the taxpayers. I don’t know what’s so hard about this as it’s all over the internet from reliable sources.

    Also, MAGA republicans are becoming as bad as vegans. How do you know who is a vegan? They will scream from the rooftops. Same with MAGA believers.

    When the election comes, the abortion show will again be center stage, and again the democrats will have a large turnout.

    President Joe Biden is pardoning thousands of people convicted of marijuana offences in Washington DC and on federal lands.

    He’s also set to commute the sentences of 11 non-violent drug offenders “serving disproportionately long sentences”.

    Mr Biden made the announcement in a statement on Friday morning, saying that “America was founded on the principle of equal justice under law”.

    “Elected officials on both sides of the aisle, faith leaders, civil rights advocates, and law enforcement leaders agree that our criminal justice system can and should reflect this core value that makes our communities safer and stronger,” he added. “That is why today I am announcing additional steps I am taking to make the promise of equal justice a reality.”

    The president said that if the offenders receiving the commuted sentences had faced justice today, “all of them would have been eligible to receive significantly lower sentences”.……..
