I get my news from Reuter's

They don't lie. They are around for this specific reason - since WW2. They have made mistakes, not malicious decisions and print corrections.

They say the conspiracy theories being espoused here are bullshirt. I tend to agree with them.

And I have a questions for the group -

Who has more to gain by overtly lying to stay relevant - A multinational media conglomerate, sworn to honesty since their inception for just that reason. Or a person on the internet who is only monetized by clicks that drive ads on their page? Your twitter source is being paid to get you to come read more of their stuff. Straight news is boring.

I know it seems like it should be a hard decision. But it isn't.
Sworn to honesty? Really? Reuters does seem to be one of the more credible corporate media outlets, but is that really saying much?

LONDON (Reuters) - The British government secretly funded Reuters in the 1960s and 1970s at the behest of an anti-Soviet propaganda unit linked to British intelligence and concealed the funding by using the BBC to make the payments, declassified government documents show.

    And?

The simplistic polls are virtually meaningless. Who creates the poll? What personal biases do they inject? Who is being contacted? What are their personal biases? How are they being contacted? What is the financial situation of those being questioned? What is the religious affiliation, if any, of those being questioned? Where are they located in the various states? What method is used to verify the truthfulness of their responses? Where do the monies come from that create the polls? How accurate are polls that are 11+ months from election time? Why have polls in recent times become less dependable?

Finally, please explain the psychological, sociological factors involved in the responses as well as the overall political economic drivers including media, belief structures, institutions, international trends and factors at play that are influencing the responses.

You will notice he just ignores any polls that don’t say what he wants to hear. It’s what he does….
Yeah, i have noticed that. I added a bunch of questions for him that I do not expect him to answer.

    Another perspective:

Biden won't be the Dem nominee for 2024. I think that is pretty obvious at this point. I don't think all the burst water pipes at 2 am at all the polling stations can fix Biden at this point

    https://nypost.com/2023/12/16/news/...lic-sex-in-congress-leaves-ben-cardin-office/

A US Senate staffer allegedly caught filming himself having sex in a Judiciary Committee hearing room no longer has his job, Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Maryland) said on X.

“Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate. We will have no further comment on this personnel matter,” a Cardin spokeswoman told The Post.

Maese-Czeropski, a 24-year-old legislative aide, was accused of posting a video of himself in flagrante delicto with another man on a public X account. His face appeared to be clearly visible, according to The Spectator, which first broke the story Friday.

The roughly eight seconds of intercourse allegedly took place in the same room where nominees to the Supreme Court are grilled by senators and where former FBI boss James Comey once testified about alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Graphic video of the moment was published by The Daily Caller Friday

Is this the adult being in charge again or the return to normalcy? I get confused by the mindless left talking points.

    Want to make a bet?

I've said multiple times that I don't respond to people who constantly personally insult me. Is that hard to understand?
If I had that policy I would never respond to you at all, and then you would be justified in saying I don’t answer your questions. Meanwhile you ignore my questions all the time.

I guess you don’t apply your own rules to yourself.

Wait, what? Does that make sense in your head when you reread it?

Biden soundly beat Trump the first go around, why wouldn’t they?
Yes, soundly is a word, although I don't think you used it correctly in this example.
Why? Because no one wants to vote for him and diversity hire Harris. What is the approval rating with Dems again?

He cries to me that I don’t answer his questions, when I make a really good effort to answer them. I would guess I answer the vast majority of questions he asks me.

He doesn’t do the same courtesy to me or anyone else, and when called on it he claims he won’t respond to people who insult him.

He tends to insult me a good bit, yet he expects me to answer his posts.

Is it making sense yet? I didn’t think it was that bad, but then I knew what I meant, lol.
