What will be the plan for the DNC?
How will this all shake out?

Flat tax sounds good in theory, but it's regressive.

Based on reporting, it seems that a lot of delegates are ready to start the roll call vote right now.

I don't think that can happen yet, not officially at least. A few of the folks on CNN today are on the DNC's Rules Committee and had mentioned that delegates hadn't received their validated credentials yet.

You guys seem nervous lol. It was done as soon as Biden endorsed. The delegates are all Biden loyalist. The nominee is decided. This is going down exactly how some of us on the board said it would.

P.S. This would have been negiotated with Nancy, et al.

Most of the DNP's energy is going to be focused on the transition of candidates.

Yeah you called it correct.. the more I'm stuck to having CNN on in the background here, everyone seems ready to roll with her whether they explicitly endorsed her or not. Semi-orchestrated, semi-organic.. everyone seems to realize that this is the moment.

Nothing is done until it's actually done. If everything that has happened with everything since Jan 2020 until now has taught us anything, it's don't take anything for granted, because you never know what's just around the corner.

It's reasonable and wise to be cautiously optimistic.

This is going down exactly how some of us on the board said it would.

Taking victory laps at halftime have a tendency to bite people in the arse. Fingers crossed this isn't one of those times.

The 2020 primaries and election went down the exact opposite of how you and those same others said it would. Even a blind nut occasionally finds a squirrel.

I mean they are eager to and want to, not that they are formally ready to. The DNC originally wanted it to be done by the 27th, so I wouldn't be surprised if they got it done by Friday the 26th, so that Harris-??? can get into full swing on Monday the 29th.

The sooner they make it done deal, the less of a chance that external voices can sow division and doubt.

I think that window for turning back was eclipsed within an hour of Biden's announcement.

Oh, I do, too. Even suspect there was deal making with key figures before Biden would agree to step aside. No way do I believe he would have been willing to hand it over to the circus of a contested convention.

I’ve felt a sense of relief I hadn’t expected, after the initial surprise wore off.

Seeing the outpouring of support and unity, combined with record fundraising, is the biggest encouragement we’ve had in awhile.

Someone on Twitter that I read thinks Trump will turn on Vance as a scapegoat for this - especially if his polling drops. But I don’t know about the legality of swapping out VPs after the convention.
