The White House fence jumper investigation and the agent extracurricular activities are just 2 that has happened in the last 10 years. What makes you believe that this investigation is any more special than these other investigations into the USSS?

It's certainly not, but that doesn't mean they'll break protocol just to make the politicians happy, which isn't their job anyway. Call a hearing after the investigation if they want to know what happened.

I just said that the USSS was investigating itself (which we both know to be true).

And that's true for most agencies. They have their own investigators within the agencies who are tasked specifically with internal investiations and they don't typically interact with agents outside of investigation purposes.

I didn't say anything about how long the investigation should take. I do think at least a preliminary investigation and report should be completed in 30 days and a full investigation however long it takes.

But she's not wrong and I don't disagree with that.

I got no issue with that of they feel like they're not getting enough answers, but I wouldn't have expected any 10 days after the assassination attempt. 30 days and I'd feel differently. 10 days really isn't enough time to gather all of the facts.

Remember the “breathless” revelation that the shooter had three (3!) “encrypted overseas accounts”? And we would get the details in the hearing? I’m not reading certain peoples’ posts any longer, but I just wondered if anyone had mentioned that the shooter had accounts on 3 gaming sites, hence the “encrypted overseas accounts”. This is actually pretty comical, when you think about it.

I don’t think any of us have full details to say one way or the other what happened, however he did step down/ resign in the same year that the assassination took place.

With multiple agencies investigating, she's not gonna give out or comment on much related to the specific case for obvious legal reasons.
