I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

This can go in multiple topics
ps. she got arrested for making these threats

“You are in our sights, we want to kill you,” Shry continued. “If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you, so tread lightly, b—h. You will be targeted personally, publicly, your family, all of it.”

Men are more willing to travel, relocate, and negotiate a better deal. Women have to walk a delicate line with the care of children, pregnancy, and are less aggressive in terms of fighting for a better position. I am not saying this is right, I a simply delineating other reasons.

The question the begs an answer is: why would an employer prefer to pay 20 to 30% more to get the same job out of an employee? Are male employers so consumed with sexism that they prefer to spend 30% more money in payroll to harm women?

Perhaps male employers wrongfully conclude that they get more work out of a male employee and therefore avoid women employees. I do not rule that out, however I think it is odd.
Paying a man more than a woman for performing the same job is against the law. I do not have an answer for this discrepancy. In my experience women work as hard as men and where I work women are valued as much as men. However, when it comes to work nights or on the weekends those slots are mostly filled by men.

A student organization that serves African-American men who attend Tallahassee Community College might have to change its name or risk losing funding under a new Florida law.

Tyler Soto, a student at TCC, is a member of Black Male Achievers. He says they're working out possible new names, such as "Male Achievers" or "Scholar Male Achievers."

"We’re going to have to change the name of our organization or they’re going to defund it because it has 'Black' in front of it."

A new law prohibits student-led organizations that “advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion” and other social and political causes from receiving state or federal funding. While those organizations aren’t banned outright, they may only receive funding from student-activity fees under the new law.

That has him and his classmates concerned as they get ready to return to campus this month, Soto said.

Soto, who's also a member of TCC’s Student Government Association, says changes like these only encourage him to get more involved in the political process.

“It has made me want to step up and be the change.”

Soto’s classmate Denzel Wiggins is also a member of SGA and the Black Male Achievers...........

Black students at a Florida elementary school were singled out and pulled from class for an assembly about how it was a “problem” that they had performed poorly on their standardized tests, school district officials said Wednesday. The incident drew outrage from parents and prompted an investigation by the school district.

Only Black fourth- and fifth-grade students at Bunnell Elementary School in Flagler County, Fla., were taken out of class on Friday for the assembly on how to improve their grades — even students who had passing grades.

Students were selected to attend based on their race, Flagler Schools spokesman Jason Wheeler told The Washington Post on Wednesday.
Black teachers showed the students a typo-laden PowerPoint presentation titled, “AA Presentation,” which noted how Black students had underperformed on standardized tests for the past three years.

On the slide titled “The Problem,” the school district identified Black students as “AA,” or African Americans, in its assessment of their low overall scores, according to the presentation obtained by The Post.

The incident has drawn backlash from parents who were not alerted about an event that had “segregated” their 9- and 10-year-olds. Some say their children were told in the assembly that they could end up dead or in jail if they did not do well on their upcoming tests.

“It told my child that she was not good enough,” Jacinda Arrington told WOFL, a Fox affiliate in Orlando. “The color of your skin means that you are not good enough, when, in fact, she’s one of the smartest kids in her class.”

Another parent, Alexis Smith, told WFTV, an ABC affiliate in Orlando, that her son was panicking after the assembly. She said he asked her, “So I’m going to die, I’m going to get shot, I’m going to go to jail if I don’t do right?”……..

    So very Florida of Florida.

In November 2020, Patrick Braxton, a volunteer firefighter and contractor from Newbern, Alabama, was elected mayor of the 133-person town. He wanted to have a peaceful and timely transfer of power, so he repeatedly attempted to contact the town’s previous mayor, Haywood “Woody” Stokes III, but Stokes would not return his calls.

Braxton, who is Black, decided to go to the town hall and talk to Stokes, who is white, in person. He told Stokes that he would need a key to the town hall to begin his duties.

Stokes acquiesced and gave him a key, but when Braxton entered the building, he found that town hall had been stripped of its records, beyond a couple boxes of discarded items that looked like trash.

He also said he noticed that Stokes had given keys to friends of his, people who were not council members and had no official business with the city, who were walking in and out of the building.

So Braxton changed the locks. He and his appointed city council held their first town meeting. Shortly thereafter, Stokes changed the locks again, locking the new mayor out of town hall and effectively preventing him and his council from serving their duties.

The battle of the locks was part of a long power struggle that started earlier that year when Braxton won the first mayoral election in the town in over a century.

Braxton’s decision to run for mayor upended a decades-long political system of entrenched disenfranchisement and effective mayoral dictatorship. For decades, mayors had been appointed, not elected. Braxton’s campaign triggered the first election in recent history, and made him the first Black mayor since the town was established 169 years ago.

From the day he was sworn in, until now, nearly three years later, Stokes and his cronies have refused to acknowledge Braxton’s legitimacy as mayor, going so far as to prevent him from accessing city mail and funds.

Earlier this year, Braxton and his four appointed city council members filed a lawsuit against Stokes and his city council alleging that the former mayor and his allies violated federal civil rights law by preventing Braxton from acting as mayor…….

What about 'Karen'? Have you used that racial slur?

Are you seriously...SERIOUSLY...trying to compare calling someone a Karen with calling someone the n-word?

    Yes.

I had typed a whole explanation on this, but suffice it to say, being a Karen has nothing to do with whiteness and everything to do with being an butt crevasse to people in the customer service industry.

The n-word has everything to do with blackness.

This let's Newt Gingrich, Jerry Falwell and that fat, bloated, pedo piece of shirt Rush Limbaugh off the hook imo.

They started this. They just didn't have the reach because of technological limitations.
True, they just didn’t get the traction these other guys get.
