I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

Clearly nothing to 👀 here ...

Just can't have a black woman holding them accountable.

Kenly, North Carolina (CNN)The mass exodus of an entire police department after the hiring of a Black city manager in North Carolina has opened a conversation about public safety and race relations in a small town of just over 1,500 residents.

Last week, the entire police department in Kenly, North Carolina, resigned, citing a "hostile" work environment less than two months after Justine Jones, a Black woman, began her role as the town's newly selected city manager.

Joy Wright, a local business owner, said the community is concerned about what the collective police retreat means for the future of the town. Wright also said she was mostly frustrated because the town hadn't been keeping residents in the loop with any developments.

"It's just weird, and for us to not have any information as to what to expect," Wright said. "Are we going to have police? Are we going to have a town manager?"

Following an emergency, closed-door meeting last week, the Kenly town council released a statement this week saying, "The prudent course of action is to find out what happened and not make any rash decisions."

Alan "Chip" Hewett, Kenly's town attorney, told CNN that he will oversee an investigation conducted by an outside firm starting next week when all the resignations take effect. Technically, the police chief and officers are still on the job through the beginning of next week. The police chief's resignation is effective Tuesday.

I bet there is more to the story than the color of the person. No idea, but this seems like something CNN likes to embellish.

Well, just on a cursory reading, CNN doesn’t really allege anything about race, other than to mention her race. They quote some townspeople who think it was about race.

So no one knows, but the first assumption here and in the media is that it was racial.

I guess the woke does not have to obey the laws any longer....

As The Daily Wire previously reported, several non-white Oberlin students attempted to steal alcohol from Gibson’s, a local bakery with a long history of serving the Oberlin community. A Gibson family member who was working at the bakery that day chased the students out of the store, where they attacked him. He called the police and the students were arrested, pleaded guilty and admitted race had nothing to do with the incident.

But other students and faculty accused the bakery of racism and staged protests outside, with Oberlin officials fully endorsing and supporting the protesters’ (false) narrative. Further, while Oberlin claimed in court the protests were peaceful, some demonstrators actually entered the bakery and harassed customers, taking pictures of them and making disparaging comments to them. They also blocked customers from moving down the aisles and slashed the tires of a store employee.

Behind the scenes, Oberlin administrators trashed the bakery and anyone who defended them, calling defenders “idiots” and saying “F***” them.

The article you linked specifically does NOT assume it was race based. The townspeople did and they quote them.

I really hate this that his family is crying racism about R Kelly's crimes. He made a sex tape with a forking 14 year old girl. Racism has nothing to do with this. This is precisely the kind of thing that gives people like @Farb the opportunity to deny racism.

... maybe he suffers from affluenza.

So two old racists got their business ruined by costumers choosing not to shop there and to talk shirt about it?

That’s capitalism baby! That is the market deciding.

They were awarded a ton of $ so obviously the school’s actions crossed into slanderous and punitive which is not ok.

However, they have appealed the decision and are awaiting this state SC to take up the case and decide prior to paying. That is their legal right. It’s sucks for little guy that rich guy can bleed you in court proceedings until you are broke and cannot fight anymore. But such is our judicial system. Our former president was notorious for doing this to contractors.

That was my first assumption, Yes.

I'm open to having my mind change if more information comes out that it's not, but I highly doubt any such info will come out. Something like that doesn't happen in under 2 months unless there is real animus and lack of respect. Both of which indicate it's likely racial.

This guy sounds like @Farb, makes since why he would feel sympathetic.

Four years ago, Gibson’s Bakery sued the College for defamation after College employees were allegedly seen distributing fliers at a student protest of the business. Last week, on Sept. 30, Judge John R. Miraldi from the Lorain County Court Of Common Pleas unsealed additional evidence in the case. The evidence is called “Exhibit G” and consists of Facebook records made by Allyn Gibson Jr. over a period of five years.

Some of the Facebook posts, which were all written between 2012 and 2017, express Allyn Jr.’s opinions toward Black people. In one post from 2016, Allyn Jr. wrote, “Not my fault most black ppl around my area suck.” In another post, he expressed his frustration over conversations about race.

“I wasn’t racist ever … but this **** and the way people treat me now because I am “white” is racist and is making me racist,” Allyn Jr. wrote. “I don’t owe a damn person a damn thing. If these lazy ***** want to start working then they could earn their own money. That’s what my family does for money… work.”

The evidence was unsealed after multiple attempts to bring the Facebook posts into the public record. First, in September 2019, the College’s attorneys petitioned Miraldi to unseal the posts and Miraldi denied the request. Later, in April 2020, several media organizations including Advance Ohio — owner of The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com — and News 5 Cleveland requested that the evidence be publicly released, which Miraldi again denied. Finally, in July, the media organizations submitted a writ of mandamus to the Ohio Supreme Court to force Judge Miraldi to release the Facebook posts. Before the Ohio Supreme Court made a decision, Miraldi decided to unseal them.

And the University and students continues to reinforce that lie that it was racist. Why would they do that?

Funny how you still have to go to Trump. But anyway,
Why is the college and their students still 'protesting' and continuing the lie about the innocent? Victimhood is a hell of a drug.

Even though the kids that stole the wine said it was not racial? You still want to hold on to the racial card?

I didn't say the incident itself was racist.

But the owner's son (who was involved) is, from his social media post. His social media post is likely what caused the protest/reaction from students once it came to light.

So if it wasn't racist, keep digging until there can maybe, hopefully be something racist so we can have victimhood again?
I think you might be wrong considering the court ruling and it being upheld. How about we revisit this once it is heard in the supreme court?
