I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

No. That wasn't really a war. That was more of a genocide.
Of course you think that. Why was it genocide? Vastly different stages of technology? The inevitable globalization of the world?

I know, almost as silly as holding people in the past up to present standards! Laughable.
Since there were abolitionists prior to the existence of this country as a country your argument fails. Slaveholders and slave traders are sub-human. Those who fought to support such a system were sub-human. And, yes, the founders that held slaves were just as guilty. They lacked the moral courage to destroy slavery.

Can you name a society that outlawed slavery before the West did for good?
What about those societies that still have slavery, you obviously consider them sub-human as well, right?

Lol, you act like there is a “society” called “the West”. Who are these people? Where do they live?

You‘ve been down some really skeevy white nationalist-adjacent rabbit holes.

You should have learned about that in school. If only they had taught you history in grade school. But anyway, I'll let history.com explain it to you:

From the time Europeans arrived on American shores, the frontier—the edge territory between white man’s civilization and the untamed natural world—became a shared space of vast, clashing differences that led the U.S. government to authorize over 1,500 wars, attacks and raids on Indians, the most of any country in the world against its Indigenous people. By the close of the Indian Wars in the late 19th century, fewer than 238,000 Indigenous people remained, a sharp decline from the estimated 5 million to 15 million living in North America when Columbus arrived in 1492.

The reasons for this racial genocide were multi-layered. Settlers, most of whom had been barred from inheriting property in Europe, arrived on American shores hungry for Indian land—and the abundant natural resources that came with it. Indians’ collusion with the British during the American Revolution and the War of 1812 exacerbated American hostility and suspicion toward them.

Even more fundamentally, Indigenous people were just too different: Their skin was dark. Their languages were foreign. And their world views and spiritual beliefs were beyond most white men’s comprehension. To settlers fearful that a loved one might become the next Mary Campbell, all this stoked racial hatred and paranoia, making it easy to paint Indigenous peoples as pagan savages who must be killed in the name of civilization and Christianity.

Re: owning a human being. ANYONE who owns another human being or thinks it is ok to own another human being is sub-human, period. You don’t like it, I don’t give a flying flock at a rolling doughnut.

Vastly different stages of weaponry. Vastly different concepts of ownership and relationship with nature. The inevitable globalization of the world arose due to the concept of constant, infinite growth. This is because capitalism requires it. It also requires competition be stifled through oligopoly/monopoly. Profit, return on investment and interest are all claims on future growth.

So was George Washington to the crown. Do we, as Americans, need to apologize to the queen?
Had we lost the war, I can say with 100% certainty that he would have been treated as such, as would anyone who supported independence. Do you disagree?

    A side note:
The CSA was very clear about keeping slavery legal by specifically adding it to their constitution.

Really, you don't know about Western Civilization? LOL.

If by white nationalist rabbit holes, you mean world history, then yeah, I am now a white nationalist too. Do I need to update my info under my avatar to keep track of all the new and exciting 'ism' and 'ist' I am, to help you all keep it straight?

Do you think the US should provide reoperations o the natives?

Also, sounds like a conquered people, just like those tribes conquered other tribes in the past.

Ok, I will go along with that and I agree.

Besides the individual, should the society that allows a person to own another person also be on the hook and share the blame?

Do you think Spain was the leader in 'new world' colonization and resource gathering? They were.

Did you know Spain was far from a capitalist society? In fact, Spain was backwards in relation to the rest of Europe at the time. So, maybe capitalism is not the evil backdrop to all the worlds problems like most academics in the early the 20th century claims it to be.

    I do agree. 100%.

Yes they were. Not sure about the CSA constitution, but it is crystal clear that slavery was the main issue in the states secession conventions.

You didn’t answer my questions and I never, ever, not once called you a white nationalist. But if you can read you know that. You just needed a convenient way to take the focus off of your statements and make yourself a victim again.

And I don’t believe for a minute you came to these conclusions about the superiority of “Western Civilization” by going to a legitimate history site.

It doesn’t take much reasoning to realize that the people you are following are using “Weastern Civilization” as a stand-in for “the white race” does it? Did that even cross your mind?
