I fear we are really going to be in a bad place due to the obvious cuts to the federal agencies that deal with infectious disease, but also the negative effect the Affordable Care act has had on non urban hospitals. Our front line defenses are ineffectual and our ability to treat the populous is probably at an all time low. Factor in the cost of healthcare and I can see our system crashing. What do you think about the politics of this virus?

    It’s all about him, always.

Meantime two takeaways from Redfield’s testimony on the hill. I’m a bit leery of them taking CDC money to Washington for a “messaging” campaign that CDC has no say over. That sounds like a problem.

Does he know that he’s president of the whole country?

He isn't even interested in doing the job of a real President, much less President of the whole country. He only wants to "be" President, and thinks divisiveness is the way to do it.

This is very disturbing and it makes you wonder how widespread this type of thing is.

The coronavirus cases on lower Broadway may have been so low that the mayor’s office and the metro health department decided to keep it secret.

Emails between the Mayor’s senior advisor & the Health Dept. reveal only a partial picture. But what they reveal is disturbing.

The discussion involves the low number of coronavirus cases emerging from bars & restaurants & how to keep it from the public.

That article is from a guy that lost his last job because he basically fabricated it.

So does techno frog back his story up?

Taking credit for the Big 10

Curious if it’ll have an impact in the polls
    ===================
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump was quick to spike the ball in celebration when the Big Ten announced the return of fall football at colleges clustered in some of the Midwest battleground states critical to his reelection effort, declaring, “I’m the one who got football back.”

But his efforts to reverse last month’s decision to postpone fall sports in the conference because of the novel coronavirus were far from the only factor that led officials to change course.........

Already one Big Ten President has said that Trump’s public pressure was a negative for them and that they didn’t consider his opinion at all.

Your article doesn’t even supply the emails. It does admit however that one of them doesn’t show who sent the email, it says that part is “clipped off”. So that would make it totally suspect for fabrication as anyone could have written that email.

The source for confirmation of the emails is a single city council member.

I don’t think I will be clicking on any more of your bogus articles, SFL. Your standards for proof are totally different depending on whether the article supports your own narrative or not.

    No more wasting my time.

Did you click on the video to see it was on their local TV News station? You think the local news fabricated the story? The mayor of Nashville is a Democrat so I could see why his office wouldn't want the information that restaurants and bars were safe to be known by the public.

You are still complaining about other people's sources while you post articles from Weissmann?

It's a vortex of conspiracy. I don't know how that dude gets thru his day sifting thru every possible conspiracy that agrees with his current premise.
