Senator Warnock won in a special election to fill the remainder of Johnny Isakson's seat - which expires January 2023. This means the seat is up for election in 2022, where Warnock will run as the incumbent and the GOP field that is now led by former running back Hershel Walker, who has been enthusiastically endorsed by Donald Trump.

The only viable choice that wasn't Trump. When you are willing to tear up the outdated Constitution and willing to go with a form of government similar to the UK and nearly every other Western democracy then I am all on board.

'Moving past Trump' is not some individual obsessive thing you like to dismiss it as. Do I deride you for being unable to 'move past abortion' or 'move past the fantasy of religion?' Nope. It's not Trump the man, it's the objective harm he did -- and is still doing -- to this country. As noted above, inserting 'MAGA' for Trump only proves my point, so thank you for that.

Well, Trump ran and won on MAGA (maybe x2) so he did usher in this new political catch phrase but by means invented it. I don't associate Trump with MAGA. I actually think Trump is hurting the MAGA movement in a lot of ways but the effect he has on the other side is hard to argue.

At the very minimum, it took the Dems collecting more votes that Obama got for Biden, so to say that it took all the D voters to stop the MAGA policy. That should tell you how popular the policies are with the Reps.

What would you consider Reagan was meant as an analog to you asking me about Gabbard and McConnell. Would you consider Reagan a RINO?

It was written two and a half centuries ago in times where politics wasn't based on five second soundbites and has proven grossly unworkable when compared with other governments around the world. America is hardly exceptional and there is nothing inherently superior about our form of government.

So what is 'MAGA' aside from Trump? It'll take some doing to convince me its not just some slogan for hyper nationalism/religious fundamentalism or a rallying cry for people who dress like an American flag puked on them. It is a political philosophy that does not accept compromise so it is no better than the 'wokeness' of the left it seeks to combat.

Body Politics has changed into 5 second sound bites or the politicians and ciitizens attentions span has been reduced to 5 second sound bites? I would argue the constitution has worked exactly has intended and it is expectational. The fact that there is a clamor from those that recently lost power to 're-do' it in order to gain that power is in itself proof that the slow change approach is working as intended.

Since we are discussing new forms of government and the success of the 'world' vs our failures, is it safe to assume that you only mean Europe and western civilization countries?
