Trump Indictment ( includes NY AG and Fed documents case ) (2 Viewers)

BS executives were so concerned about airing former President Donald Trump’s post-indictment speech that they slapped a warning label on the screen for viewers to read.

Unlike CNN and MSNBC, PBS opted to broadcast Trump’s address from his Bedminster golf course, filled with falsities, partisan accusations, and threats to eventually persecute his political opponents if elected for a second term. Normal stuff, for Trump, oddly. But it was newsworthy as what he said is admissible in a court of law.

But in a concerning next step in the infantilization of television viewers, PBS dropped a stunning warning label that read: “EXPERTS WARN THAT INFLAMMATORY RHETORIC FROM ELECTED OFFICIALS OR PEOPLE IN POWER CAN PROMPT INDIVIDUAL ACTORS TO COMMIT ACTS OF VIOLENCE.”.........

Most of the posters here aren’t really into rhetorical games, and do try to state things in a genuine fashion. We genuinely try to say things we judge to be true when discussing verifiable facts.

I realize you were fairly well badgered here the other day - I believe that happened because you were pretty stubborn about insisting you hadn’t made an error when you had and it was obvious. When you couple that with your insistence on having your own set of facts about both Trump and other political figures, and that we are still getting to know you, that happens. A gentle hazing if you will. You came in here pretty hot, IMO, with guns blazing, lol.

You see us as a monolith, I think. We are far from that. There is a tilt, in that we don’t have very many Trump supporters, but there are all sorts of nuanced views on a variety of issues. I’ve learned a lot, there is a crap ton of expertise on various topics on this board - if you’re willing to learn and discuss issues forthrightly this is the board for you.

Donald Trump’s indictment is not only an extension of the “biggest witch hunt of all time”, but mutants are involved too – that is according to the former president’s latest bizarre rant on Truth Social.

In a characteristically rambling post on the social meda site on Wednesday, Mr Trump said that the indictment “hoax” was the fault of misfits, marxists and communists – as well as “mutants”.

“REALLY BIG FUNDRAISING, EVEN GREATER POLLS, SINCE THE RADICAL LEFT INDICTMENT HOAX WAS INITIATED BY THE MISFITS, MUTANTS, MARXISTS, & COMMUNISTS! THANK YOU,” he typed in his now trademark all-caps style.

Mr Trump failed to explain what he meant by mutants – or why they were to blame.

The former president, who was impeached twice during his four years in office, was indicted on 37 counts over his alleged retention of classified documents after leaving office, including information pertaining to national security..............
