One of the talking heads just now said something about the old ‘Which one of these guys would you rather have a drink with?’ thing... Here’s a fun fact: Did you guys know that both these guys, Biden and Trump, both of them claim to have NEVER tasted alcohol in their lives? No beer, no wine, nothing... I’m wondering if it’s the first time we’ve ever had a POTUS race between two candidates like that.. Clinton and Reagan were both famous teetotalers , though I believe they’d both tried alcohol in their lives.. Dubya gave up drinking on his 40th birthday.. but i cant think of a race between two guys who’d never had alcohol at all in their entire lives, so I’m thinking this is the first time.. and it’s why I’ve always found the question of ‘Who you’d rather drink with’ absurd, since most them dont even imbibe.

I am excited to hear The Donald say all these things! Should be a classy, highbrow evening!!

Agreed (also agreed that I don't plan on watching the debate outside of highlights). Biden will not win engaging Trump in a shouting match. He needs to say, 'folks, the President is going to ramble on about tabloid issues but I'm here to talk about what affects you as Americans.'

So far, I like this debate a lot better.

Doing 20-25 mins on Covid only helps Biden. This is Trump’s worst topic.

Well i think the fact that Trump has planted the Hunter Biden laptop guy in the audience (and presumably plans to introduce him) doesnt portend well for the civility continuing.

Biden should mention that Trump's treatment is not available to the average American.

No new info, but this is much better.

When Trump talks about how awful amd depressing the country is right now, I sometimes wonder if he realizes that he is currently the President of that country and has been for four years.
