By a unanimous jury in district court in DC in July 2022, Bannon was found guilty of contempt of Congress for failing to respond to his lawful and served subpoena from the January 6 investigation. He was sentenced to four months and last week, the DC Circuit denied his appeal . . . which Bannon's attorney had previously described as "a bulletproof appeal". Though he theoretically could get relief from the SCOTUS, the high court refused Peter Navarro's writ in a nearly identical case in April.

With his appeal exhausted, DOJ moved the district court today to instruct Bannon to report to prison.

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon penned a message of advice to the “Make America Great Again” movement — a nod to former President Trump’s 2016 campaign motto — ahead of Election Day, writing from Danbury Prison in Connecticut that “the moment is now on our side.”

“[Vice President] Harris has peaked,” Bannon wrote in an op-ed published Friday by The National Pulse. “The momentum is now on our side, and this is the time to capitalize on it.”

“If the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement focuses all of its efforts on a massive get-out-the-vote and ballot-chasing effort in the crucial days and weeks until November 5th, we will win and win big,” he added, with the election now less than six weeks away.

Bannon is expected to be released from custody Oct. 29, having reported to prison for a four-month sentence earlier in the summer. He was found guilty on two counts of contempt of Congress in 2022 after failing to appear before the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, and refusing to turn over documents.

In the letter, he went on to paint a picture of a failing Harris campaign.

“To date, the Harris campaign has offered no real solutions to the struggles Americans face,” he wrote, referencing inflation, crime rates and “weakened” national security.

“These topics can’t be masked by feel-good phrases, celebrity endorsements, or as many Oprah interviews as you want,” Bannon added.……

Why can't these jackholes just die?

Prince, David Bowie, Roy Orbison...any number of beloved artists have passed away and yet pieces of subhuman excrement like Bannon and McConnell keep on trucking.
