It’s so repulsive to see people cheering for what is basically 80% the same thing as the Holocaust - different end result but otherwise very similar.

Economists have said it would tank the economy and cause inflation - notwithstanding the cost.

I just ask because, you know, you're replying over two months later to a post to critique the use of the word 'dumb', even though the post you're quoting was using the word to parallel your usage of the word in response to @LA 2 L.A. , and you're asserting that "dumb would mean mute", which would make your own original usage of the term incorrect, but you're also suggesting using a dictionary, which would of course provide a definition along the lines of "lacking intelligence or good judgment", because dumb does not, in fact, necessarily mean mute.

So, yeah, just not sure what you're going for there.

An immigrant man residing in Maryland is recovering in the hospital after reportedly being attacked by ICE agents on Thursday.

The Baltimore Banner was one of the first to break the story on Friday, alleging that the ICE vehicle appeared to have intentionally rammed into the 32-year-old's van.

"I'm not aware of any law enforcement protocol in any scenario or setting across the country" that allows for federal agents to use their vehicle in that way to enforce immigration laws," Immigration attorney Adam Crandell told the Banner.

According to Baltimore City Police, the incident took place early Thursday morning.

At 7:36 a.m., police say patrol officers responded to the 200 block of South Haven Street to investigate a car crash involving two vehicles.

Police confirmed that one of the vehicles was driven by a Department of Homeland Security official and that the crash left both drivers with minor injuries.

Both parties were transported to the hospital for evaluation, where the immigrant man remained on Friday with "significant injuries to his head, chest, back, and hands," according to a statement from the man's lawyers.

Attorneys say they were denied visiting their client multiple times at the hospital.

"We are deeply disturbed by the conduct of the ICE agents involved – not only for their actions that caused our client's injuries and endangered the general public safety – but for the continued denial of his access to counsel and due process under the law. This incident underscores growing concerns nationwide about how immigration enforcement actions are being executed in our country," per Eldridge Crandell, LLC.……..
