It’s so repulsive to see people cheering for what is basically 80% the same thing as the Holocaust - different end result but otherwise very similar.

Economists have said it would tank the economy and cause inflation - notwithstanding the cost.

Is it going to actually happen or is this Build The Wall 2.0?

The C130 was in the air and remained in the air.

damn right it did.

the request - thats the issue. Not the Admiral. Not the pilots. The HEAD of DHS doesnt have the decency nor knowledge that that "ask" simply isnt an "ask" at that time.

ever.

Thank goodness it was a request to someone with clout.

with a simple solution to finding/recovering a lost seaman while on duty. ALL available resources are used. The c130 WAS AVAILABLE until Noem called to have it PULLED from the mission.

meaning, the deportation mission superseded the rescue mission.

Thats what you are defending. Congrats.
I’m not defending anything but making decisions based on a complete set of facts. You still don’t know anymore that you did this morning. It was a simple question. No need for you to get all worked up because it was asked.

Which misses the point, something you seem to like to do. It was the order that was the problem and that makes her (along with a myriad of other things) unfit for office. Do you disagree?

You sure were defending it. Trying to find any reason why that order to have the airplane immediately leave the search and rescue was just fine.

Fact- Noem called to have the C130 removed from search n rescue over to deportations. ( it was an "order" not a request, an order )
Fact- HOURS into the operation-not days, not weeks.
Fact- One of The US Coast Guard core missions- search and rescue.

Those are facts.

I dont need any more "Facts" to determine it was an utterly stupid order at a most critical time.

Apparently, you do. ( unsurprising )

To claim you need more "facts" to make an informed decision, when the simple "facts" as presented ( an absolutely asinine order amid search for a missing seaman ) is to pretend that the order had mitigating circumstances.

There were none. A US Coast Guard sailor went overboard and they did EXACTLY what the USCG is designed to do. Just so happened to be one of their own.

Thats what you keep defending. Congrats.

Im also sure the family of the missing USCG sailor is happy to know that there is an Administration official more concerned with flying illegals out of Cali than finding their child.

And your continued " i need more facts" is bordering on the same apathy demonstrated by Noem.

Hmmm...

Let me put it this way: anyone who claims to be a supporter of the defenders of the nation, in that same situation, would've said "you find that guardsman. I'll find another plane", or "the detainees can wait".

You obviously don’t manage people cause it doesn’t take much for you to go off “half cocked”. There is always two sides to every story. Often what gets reported isn’t reliable or the whole truth.

You let your bias and hatred get into your way when making decisions. That may explain why you lash out and attack anyone who questions you.

How do you know how the conversation went? You have heard on side reported. One set of “facts”.

What does managing people have to do with anything?

She determined deportation flights were more important than a seaman’s life.

Unless you have evidence to the contrary that is what happened. Please look it up if you are going to inject the possibility. I would imagine DHS would vehemently deny it if it wasn’t true. But they didn’t. They said they got other planes. Meaning the order was placed.

You carry water for people that are pedophiles and treat our military soldiers like they are expendable.

That is quite a platform you all have built

Now you play defensive as if i hurt your feels by accusing me of going off "half-cocked". Didnt think a guy your age would get that defensive, but doesnt surprise me. You tend to play dual roles here quite often.

The tired trope of "two sides" is how we got here and how this administration keeps getting away with what they do.

As a former service member who served in GW1, im going to always find myself defending the men and women of the US Military just a bit more aggressive. And if that offends you, too bad.

Shouldnt have offered up your opinion thinking it wasnt going to get critiqued.

I gave a thumbs up, because I agree that enough is enough. Profiting off of inflicting terror and death is a hallmark of fascism. The real powers behind fascist movements are always much more concerned about their obsessive compulsive addiction to hoarding more wealth, resources and power, than they are the death and destruction they leave in their path.

In my opinion, every accusation by TampaJoe is confession of guilt. He's a psychological projecting grand master, in my opinion.
