It’s so repulsive to see people cheering for what is basically 80% the same thing as the Holocaust - different end result but otherwise very similar.

Economists have said it would tank the economy and cause inflation - notwithstanding the cost.

Is it going to actually happen or is this Build The Wall 2.0?

The real sickening part is this hearing was about just TWO individuals! Two, out of the thousands unlawfully detained individuals that this lawless government has kidnapped and imprisoned.

Safe to say that Julie Le will be looking for employment elsewhere real soon. I know she submitted her resignation, but Bondi will likely fire Le because she showed too much integrity when describing the dysfunction within the DoJ.

Yes, I would assume - although they're so desperate for AUSAs right now, they would probably keep her if she would stay (but seems like she's not going to).

Note also that Ana Voss was with Ms. Le at the hearing. Voss is a long-time prosecutor in that office and she resigned this week. It's a forking mess all of Stephen Miller's making.

at this point, seemingly for a purpose. Appoint AGs that will do their bidding, unquestioned.

The mess will only get bigger, and the clean up will take years.

True indeed - but they're only a year into it and DOJ is falling apart. I know from colleagues that AUSAs on the civil side are being pulled into these immigration cases (very much against their will and capacity) - it's all hands on deck and the number of hands is fewer and fewer by the week. They already can't keep up and are failing to follow court orders by institutional incapability as much as it is deliberate.

I think the judges are being too tolerant TBH. The bench is slow to change, they're operating under old assumptions and structures. And you can tell from the Ye transcript that these staff AUSAs are there saying "Judge I'm trying!" - so it's human and judicial nature to resist being punitive.

But they need to start being punitive at the organizational level. Skip over the new staff AUSA whose head is spinning - bring in the officials. Hold them in contempt.

From the Chicago occupation. Another case of dropped charges from the DOJ. DHS is lying about nearly every arrest of a protester/observer that they make.

Time to engage in the Gregg Williams philosophy.
