This election nonsense by Trump may end up splitting up the Republican Party. I just don’t see how the one third (?) who are principled conservatives can stay in the same party with Trump sycophants who are willing to sign onto the TX Supreme Court case.

We also saw the alt right types chanting “destroy the GOP” in Washington today because they didn’t keep Trump in power. I think the Q types will also hold the same ill will toward the traditional Republican Party. In fact its quite possible that all the voters who are really in a Trump personality cult will also blame the GOP for his loss. It’s only a matter of time IMO before Trump himself gets around to blaming the GOP.

There is some discussion of this on Twitter. What do you all think?

Donald J. Trump Center for the Performative Arts.

The inaugural show will be a montage of whining, griping, blathering, lying and assorted embarrassing moments with examples of cheating at golf mixed in.
You left out farting, lots and lots of farting. I'm talking the farting preacher Robert Tilton levels of farting. If you want a good laugh, look it up.

My village has a lot. Same as the adjacent village. He was trounced. So was the r nutcase running for Congress. So a whole lot of normal r’s voted for Harris.
I was talking about elected Rs. There’s hardly any left who are not morally and ethically compromised. Or just crazy cult members.

The GOP has gone from a regular political party to a completely corrupt joke/cult in the span of about 12 years. I know they showed the signs well before Trump, but he has finished the job in spectacular fashion.

Further proof of corruption of the GOP. This time in TN, where a duly elected state legislator was denied entrance to the announcement of a project that is wholly in his own district.

Wasn’t sure where to put this
=====================

Senator Josh Hawley says the legislation he proposes will send $600 tariff rebate checks to Americans, but not to “Biden voters,” only to “Trump blue-collar voters.”

“Well, you wouldn’t give it to everybody, you’d give it to the working people,” the Missouri Republican told far-right podcaster and former Trump adviser Steve Bannon on Tuesday. “You’d give it to our people.”

“I mean, you know, the rich people don’t need it … what I mean by that is all those Democrat donors of Wall Street, all these hedge fund guys, who all hate the tariffs, by the way.”

The senator introduced the American Worker Rebate Act of 2025 on July 28. It proposes refundable tax credits of at least $600 per adult and dependent child, funded by tariff revenues, with a phase-out for incomes exceeding $75,000 for singles and $150,000 for joint filers. Checks could exceed that if revenues are higher.

He said on Bannon’s War Room podcast, “We’re on track to raise over $150 billion from tariff revenues this year alone, this calendar year alone.”

“My view is, we ought to give a portion [of] that back to our working-class blue-collar voters who powered the Trump revolution, who got this president into office multiple times, and who are the backbone of this nation.”………

Is Musk running his tunnel scam in TN too? It's one of the biggest "over promise" and "deliver nothing" scams he has going.

Working class and blue collar workers will pay a lot more than an extra $600 a year due to Trump's tariffs. This is nothing but throwing table scraps to the "riff raff" to keep them quiet.

For people saying that the GOP isn’t the party of white suprematism, listen to this. The sitting VP made a speech at Claremont, where I am sure it was warmly received, arguing that immigrants be relegated to a form of second class citizenship, if they could ever become citizens at all. He wants citizenship to be based on “heritage” and connection to the “soil”.

White man exercising control over the Black man. Disgusting. Jones needs to file lawsuits against the guy, the governor and anyone else he can think of.

..........According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Martin was charged with disrupting a meeting, resisting arrest, and criminal trespass. He was booked into Travis County Jail and spent over 24 hours in custody. All charges were later dropped, according to Martin's campaign.

“They did this because I had the audacity to speak up,” Martin said after his release. “And you know what? I’m gonna continue to have that audacity. Because strongly worded letters won’t get us out of this mess. It takes speaking truth to power no matter what the consequences are.”

“I’d do it again for the people of Texas," he added...........

Both in TN and TX their disgust at the audacity of a black man to speak up and actually expect to be treated the same as any white man is palpable. I was crazy to think that racism had been at least discredited by the Civil Rights Movement of my youth. They went underground and are now back in everybody’s face as a result of Trump modeling that behavior. Loud and proud of their racism.

Here is a mash up of how one of the sessions in TX was run where the public supposedly was supposed to comment on gerrymandered maps which were purposefully not made available to the public before the session. This guy thinks he’s a tiny dictator.

I cannot stand bullies, but I equally cannot stand people who have the means to stand up to bullies, and do the opposite.
