The VP debate between Pence and Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris is slated for Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

The debate will run for 90 minutes and comprise nine 10-minute segments with no commercial breaks. Susan Page, USA Today's Washington bureau chief, will moderate. Pence and Harris will be seated for the debate and positioned 12 feet apart.

Missed opportunity by Kamala. She should have beat him over the head with that super spreader event.

"How can we trust this Administration to protect the country when they can't even protect themselves?"
They don't focus enough on retorts, they focus on the message they already wanted to get out. They come into these with a plan. I wish they'd react to each other more.

I missed the first couple questions. Sounds like neither is really answering a lot, especially that "hey the presidential candidates are old" question.

She’s playing the socialism card and he’s gonna come back with that

You can see the Republican glee in Pence’s eyes - “free college for low to moderate incomes?! Ha! You just lost the election socialist!”

Kamala is not correcting some of the factually incorrect things that Pence has said, such as stopping all travel from China, that they have followed all of the advice of their health experts, and his claims that Harris is undermining trust in vaccines.

She should have hit them over the leadership on Covid front. "Leadership isn't getting Covid, leadership is showing America how NOT to get Covid, which the Trump administration just highlighted in a spectacular fashion".

Go over all the times they downplayed the virus. Trump's tweet on "Liberate Michigan!" You could even say that it's reasonable to disagree with some lockdown measures taken by individual states, but leadership would be to say "I will work with the governor of Michigan, to establish reasonable guidelines, but in the meantime, please take this seriously."

    Things like that. Ugh.
