The football board had the very useful Daily Trump Tracker thread, which was a good place to briefly discuss the latest ridiculous thing that might have ended 97% of prior Presidential administrations even if it didn't necessarily justify an entire thread devoted to it in 2017-2019 (because of the sheer volume of these things). Since I don't see anything like that here already, I'll add one myself.

Be safe man cuz tiny towns all over the country are the ones blowing up right now.

The sad part is the small towns surly don't have enough medical options to begin with.

Listen to the message from the doctors please because politicians always have an agenda. Doctors health is the agenda.
I agree. And I’m abiding by the safety guidelines as I don’t want to put anyone at risk. Staying on the ranch. No matter my feelings politically or socially I want everyone to be well, whether we are diametrically opposed or not.

Trump has removed another brick from the foundation of our checks and balances by firing another inspector general apparently because he was investigating Pompeo misuse of his staff. They are chartered to investigate fraud, waste and abuse. Asking your staff to walk your dog is waste and abuse. He should pay for that service, not our taxes.

Congress needs to address the law. I think there should be an inspector general’s office in each branch that is chartered to investigate the other branches, rather than its own branch, which would reduce the risk of being fired for investigating fraud, waste, and abuse.

Im very much interested to see who Biden's pick for VP will be. He may not have the mental acuity for another run in 24, so picking someone who is a presidential contender anyway may be the best bet.

Yes. Go to YouTube. Type in Biden dementia, or Biden losing his mind. Tons of examples will pop up. And keep in mind, Biden is by far the best candidate out of the bunch the left had up there imo. He’s just a nut because he has a medical condition. Bernie and the other Socialists (and his fans) have their faculties and are just plain crazy imo.
Meh --Berne's a social democrat at best, as is AOC. They're centrists in many European nations, like Germany. But this country has moved so far to the right that folks thought Obama was a socialist. That'd be like calling Bush a flaming liberal.

From your credible source, here are some Trump dementia examples:

The interesting thing is that Trump's mental problems are on display almost daily.

'Biden has dementia'

(Trump has slurred his words and thoughts many times)

'Biden is a rapist'
(Trump has inappropriately touched and creeped on women many times)

It's almost like...wow..there's a political narrative here and folks don't really care about the mental state of our commander in chief or his reputation for being a sex offender.

Absolute shocker.

Came across this gem in a Vanity Fair piece:

According to sources, Trump believes the answer to the message weakness is to declare all-out war on Biden’s former boss: Barack Obama. “Trump knows Biden is only popular because he was Obama’s V.P.,” a prominent Republican told me. Which is why, a few days after [Trump campaign manager Brad] Parscale’s Death Star tweet, Trump accused Obama of unnamed crimes under the umbrella of “Obamagate.” “Obama is going to be on the campaign trail in a big way. He’s the most popular Democrat of the past four decades. Trump knows you have to neutralize him, and he’s frustrated Brad didn’t think of that,” the campaign adviser said. “Trump feels he’s doing it all alone.”

But Trump’s targeting of Obama has been causing consternation among Republicans, who fear he is pursuing a base-incitement strategy when he needs to appeal to crucial suburban voters in must-win battleground states. “Going after Obama is a big risk,” a former West Wing official said. “Obama is seen as trustworthy and reasonable. If you attack him and people don’t buy it, then you have a huge swing and a miss in front of the entire country.”

The more he brings up Obama, the worse he is going to look. Obama is everything we should want in a President, whether such a president is right or left wing. Trump is everything we should not want in a president, even if you like his policies.

Just as follow up to yesterday's conversation about how a politician's attractiveness to the opposite sex translates into political success.

Is there nothing this guy won’t lie about?
===============================

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump has a favorite way to illustrate what he says is the strength of his relationship with the critical swing state he is visiting on Thursday.

He tells a story about how he was once named Michigan's "Man of the Year," though there is no evidence this ever happened.

It's worth fact checking the tale again since Trump uttered it Wednesday for at least the sixth time as President. The latest version came a day before he visits a Ford plant outside Detroit -- and hours after he threatened to deny funding to the state over a decision by its Democratic secretary of state to send applications for absentee ballots to all 7.7 million registered voters..........

Journalists tried and failed to figure out what he was talking about. (For one, the state does not have an official Man of the Year award. For two, Trump had never lived in Michigan.)

In an August 2019 telling, Trump himself said he had been confused about why he had supposedly gotten the award: "I said, 'How come?' I didn't even understand it myself."..............

Have any reporters told him that no evidence can be found that he was named Michigan's man of the year, and whether he has proof that it did happen? It would be interesting to watch him squirm out of that.

CNN is reporting on a study of 15,000 patients that were treated with hydroxychloroquine, and it appears to make the virus more deadly. Trump keeps touting the drug. What does Trump have to gain from touting this drug?

"All four of those treatments were linked with a higher risk of dying in the hospital. About 1 in 11 patients in the control group died in the hospital. About 1 in 6 patients treated with chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine alone died in the hospital. About 1 in 5 treated with chloroquine and an antibiotic died and almost 1 in 4 treated with hydroxychloroquine and an antibiotic died. "

I think it is very suspicious. I think it needs to be investigated if either him or his friends are profiting from the sales.

I do think that the dismissing the IGs should be a bigger story and bigger concern
=========================

President Donald Trump’s campaign against the watchdogs monitoring his administration could soon get a huge boost from the Supreme Court.

Trump’s drive to undermine inspectors general has outraged Democrats, who have offered a mountain of legislation to protect them from reprisal and removal.

But there are deepening doubts about whether these efforts would survive constitutional scrutiny. And the high court could leave lawmakers powerless to combat Trump’s incursion against independent oversight, as it weighs a case that calls into question whether Congress can restrict the president from removing senior Executive Branch officials without cause.........

he won't squirm, he'll just deflect and call the reporter nasty or rude etc. Like how most of his press conferences have gone recently
