The football board had the very useful Daily Trump Tracker thread, which was a good place to briefly discuss the latest ridiculous thing that might have ended 97% of prior Presidential administrations even if it didn't necessarily justify an entire thread devoted to it in 2017-2019 (because of the sheer volume of these things). Since I don't see anything like that here already, I'll add one myself.

I think the Democrats should be happy to let these lawsuits go forward. Encourage them. Say, "you're absolutely right, if you are worried about our democratic process, let's go ahead and walk you through how it worked out. I'm sorry that your faith has been eroded, but let's go about rebuilding that faith!"

Be an active visible force for restoring people's faith in our institutions.

I really doubt it comes from Trump. I don't think he has it in him. Maybe someone on his legal team might try and sort something out, but I don't see that from Trump.

Wherever he attempts to rally, I hope local governments deny permits or applications to venues in their areas. But of course, most of the Republican ones won't unfortunately.
