And i still get the feeling that rural America still has this animosity to vote for anything coming from the big cities.
And I see it in individual states.
I see how rural Georgia has animosity towards Atlanta.
I even see animosity from the rest of Louisiana to New Orleans.
That just creates a environment to vote against your best interests just because.

And I still don't get it. I see children cry over a kid playing with a toy that they aren't holding despite plenty of toys laying around. For adults to rip their face out because of this imaginary injustice is beyond me.

Here’s the full interview for context.
    About the 42:00 mark.

Just to play devil’s advocate, he doesn’t say they’re planning on not paying, he’s using a terrible metaphor.

Hey Lutnick! That’s really funny. Azzhat.

I want to point out that it’s a stupid brain dead comment.
I seriously expect a statement/retraction or it’s gonna be on EVERY ad the Dems run.
But I also felt it was important to post the entire interview for context.

Oh, I get it. Lutnick is still an azzhat though😁

This is a really dangerous game the GOP is playing.
Payments won’t be halted during the Trump era, but making it difficult is gonna sway people’s votes in 26 and 28.
And Trump’s victory in 24 wasn’t that big to begin with

The GOP knows Trump is a lame duck president.
They’re planning on hoping to pull off a Regan/Bush Sr. double whammy of Republican presidents, but without Ross Perot messing up Bush Sr.’s second term.

That’s a definite problem. They’ve already removed stuff from the website. I needed to change our withholding amount today - there’s no way to do so on the website, nor is there a way to contact the Social Security Administration any longer. No way to send a message or request, only a bot to help you if you’re having trouble logging in or finding something on the page. No way to request an appointment.

If they take away phone service they will have essentially shut the whole damn thing down.

Okay: update. I had signed in to My Social Security page. And couldn’t find any way to request an appointment or change my withholding amount. I’m pretty sure that all used to be there. There’s a lot of stuff that seems to be gone from that site.

If you go to the website without signing in to your account it appears to have those features. However, to ask them to withhold taxes it says to call them. If you cannot call them it has a form to fill out and mail to them.

I don’t know how they expect to eliminate phone service.

    Update No. 2:
Upon further checking on the website, the only way to make an appointment is to call them.

If it weren’t so absolutely STUPID and IDIOTIC it’d be funny.
