Call her crazy, but at least she brought an anti war voice to the discussion.
I am not saying that someone such as yourself wakes up in the morning craving a tyrannical government. I am saying that in the attempt to achieve "equity" or equality of outcome that the state needs an ever increasing amount of control. And even with that control, equality of outcome remains elusive.
First off, a Trumper clutching pearls about tyrannical creep is about as convincing as Stalinists once complaining about American Civil Rights to “own” the Americans.
Secondly, when I think of tyrannical government, the first thing that comes to mind is certainly modern day Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France, Canada, and Sweden....Oh wait, no it’s forking not lol. This slippery slope nonsense has little basis in reality. The closest ideology we have right now to the driver of the most recent massive genocide, fascism, is the one you spent your entire day cribbing for through the same lens of emotionally derived culture wars that the fascists of old fed on to override the rest of a countries rational sensibilities using the Jews, socialists, the left, and other cultural undesirables as the out-group to rally against(Sound familiar?).
So if you want to play that game, I’m not sure where the winning strategy for you comes in? As it is the Trump ideology, that puts the well being of the rich and powerful as their guiding star, that is far more incompatible with democracy without manipulation than almost any form of modern leftism. As a party that’s chief concern is maximizing the return for those at the very top of the economic distributional line, in a highly capitalist system with weak labor power, will never have enough natural allies to engender a majority. As no natural majority under a perfectly rational state of mind would choose politicians amongst a party that’s chief concern is concentrating wealth and power to the people that will exploit them. Which is why Trump and his goons going back decades don’t argue on principle, they use culture wars, the politics of pure hate and fear, electoral manipulation, intellectual dishonesty, and a reliance on money and propaganda by the most powerful stakeholders to convince people such as yourself of their legitimacy.
And as we have seen the country over, when that power starts slipping, so to does any semblance of concern for democratic values or norms.
“Have some perspective “Cliffs? Perhaps it could be shortened without all the drama and anger.

So did you read it and deduce anger, or not read it and assume it?
If the former, it’s simply a disingenuous red herring, if the latter, blindly going after the poster and not addressing the post.
Balls in your court.
What really is he to do in this? He holds no office. He accually has no power to fix things unlike all of the others that were running against him.Has likely Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said anything publicly about the current national emergency (or anything else) since Tuesday? No, I'm not talking about whatever his staff says on his behalf on social media accounts. This seems like a time when someone asking to become the leader of the nation might want to give some ideas or input about what the nation is supposed to do right now.

Flip, I know you game is built around trolling and avoiding any semblance of meaningful conversation when the opportunity arises, but lazily asserting someone is angry and avoiding addressing their points simply reflects the incapacity of you, not me.It's been a very long time since I had to read when of your posts to get to the anger and drama. In this instance, the first couple of sentences was enough. No idea what you wrote after that.
Biden is suffering from EOD. Which I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I actually don’t hate the guy at all as he’s the only non socialist Dem at this point it seems.
It does creep me out how he likes to smell women and little girl’s hair. That is definitely not normal.
There is a rumor that he is merely a placeholder for Hillary anyways. Leading up to a brokered convention and or stepping down if he were to be elected POTUS and handing it to Hillary.
if that were to be the case it would be very clever as they’re setting it all up nicely with how very senile he appears to be. Kudos to them if this ends up being the play. And no, I’m not saying I buy it. Just seeing and hearing a lot about this.
Oh boy.
I'm not a socialist either, but that doesn't stop people from labeling me as such.Yep. New member, not a socialist. Won’t be popular.
I’m also not a republican before I’m labeled here as I was on the PDB.
Thanks for the welcome.

And welcome.
