While Abrams may have a good personal story, I don't believe she makes a compelling case for VP. Even if you eliminate everyone other than women of color, she falls well down the list of qualified choices.
Klobuchar has taken herself out of contention for VP...
Klobuchar exits VP contention, says Biden should pick black woman
US Senator Amy Klobuchar withdrew from consideration as Joe Biden's potential vice president Thursday, saying the Democratic nominee should choose a woman of color as his running mate. She didn't have a chance in hell anyway in my opinion.
I hadn't heard too much about Val Demings but after researching a bit.. wow, she seems like a really good pick with her experience in law enforcement and at the same time pushing for racial justice. Definitely possesses that rare passion and leadership you look for.

Do not relent. The healthcare crisis we face is on a lazy GOP who had years to do something and come up with something and done zilch.
as much voter suppression as can be crammed into a single election.
Trump already had 3 million fewer votes than Clinton
His support base has not expanded
But he’s stirred up his opposition bases in possibly historic levels
Voter suppression is the only way Trump stays in office
It’s why Rs are railing against vote by mail so hard
As had been said, Trump basically just had to be one of those water drinking bird toys and let his advisors do their work and he’d waltz in to a second term.
