    First thoughts thus far...
    • I really wish Biden would've started on something other than Trump.
    • Either MTG is broke or cheap walking around with a Trump 2020 cap on. She's totally in on trying to be VP.
    • Not only does Mike Johnson have a very punchable face, he just looks very creepy up there. He looks so out of place.
    • Joe is showing energy tonight.

No surprises by the comments from the billionaires. One even pulled out the ol' socialism card to argue against it

    From the article...

Can GOP stop with the ‘Well, I never!” pearl clutching?

Saying how Biden declared war on conservative values, and how divisive the speech was and how a president is supposed to be unifying for all Americans

Has Donald Trump said one unifying sentence since he rode down that escalator in 2015?

Get the fork out of here with that

It’s one of those scenarios where the only possibilities are

    you’re an idiot

you think I am or you think your supporters are

Sooo…when did he arrive? Iirc, he is Venezuelan and Drumpf was allowing Venezuelans in because of the hatred (deservedly to a degree) of Madura. So perhaps RW knickers should get in a bunch over Drumpf’s failure.

let me get this straight- you ABHOR the media for "fear mongering" tactics.

So tell me, what is the difference between an illegal and an undocumented immigrant?

( which one invokes "fear"? )

    damn you so transparent.

Biden didn't even apologize in that clip, all he said was that he should have used undocumented. And then he gives a short explanation as to why (never referencing the murder) by speaking to the larger community of undocumented people in this country.

As is the standard MO by right wingers, the link never matches what's in the tweet.

The government calls them illegal aliens.

Undocumented immigrants is a Democrat term used to defend their open borders policy to distract people from the fact they support people breaking the law.

You do realize that report is using the term to refer to those illegal aliens that have already been convicted and are in jail, right. It's not referring to undocumented migrants who have turned themselves in at the border and are seeking asylum and are in the country (either temporarily or permanently) legally. Right?

Judge Andrew Hanen in Texas v. U.S. wrote:

The Court uses the phrases “illegal immigrant” and “illegal alien” interchangeably. The word ‘immigrant’ is not used in the manner in which it is defined in Title 8 of the United States Code unless it is so designated. The Court also understands that there is a certain segment of the population that finds the phrase “illegal alien” offensive. The Court uses this term because it is the term used by the Supreme Court in its latest pronouncement pertaining to this area of the law. See Arizona v. United States, 132 S. Ct. 2492, 2497 (2012).
