I don’t think Abrams is particularly liberal, though. She strikes me as more of a pragmatist who likes to get stuff done. Something between Manchin and AOC.

Democrats are not nearly as monolithic as Rs. Republicans will try to expel members for thought crimes these days, lol.

Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema are not exactly convinced of the sincerity, truthfulness and accuracy of how Democrats not being a more monolithic party, as judged by their battles with the progressive left and there IS A MAP poster who made a thread earlier about how liberalism in the DNC is dead and how it will be increasingly dominated by progressives in the years to come.
Compared to DNC of 40 years ago, even 20 years ago, the party is much more liberal and once-kind of fringe, jokey personalities like Bernie Sanders are now considered major, mainstream party mouthpieces and Sanders has been described as well-meaning but somewhat misguided in his support for leftist Soviet-supported Sandinista regime during the 1980's, his reluctance to criticize the failing, the economic bankrupt nation of Venezuela and failed left-wing populist politics of caudillos like Hugo Chavez, and his successor, he once praised bread lines in Cuba as a sign of socio-political, and economic equality because even in socialist societies or dictates economies, everyone suffers from the system's shirtty failings equally.

WTF Bernie his arse can fly back home to Vermont and not have to endure severe privations of most foodstuffs, toilet paper, tooth brushes, empty store shelves, people being robbed in their homes and thieves asking for American dollars, because Bolivars are essentially worthless.

The article doesn't even say what the headline says. Not sure if you can't grasp that point or just refuse to read critically, but there is not one person who has shown she actually "urged" the commissioner to move the game. Show me one example of that and I'll reconsider, but I haven't seen one instance of her even asking for that much less "urging" it.

Abrams repeatedly spoke against boycotts.

In a Twitter video March 31, Abrams said: "I understand the passion of those calling for boycotts of Georgia following the passage of SB 202. Boycotts have been an important tool throughout our history to achieve social change. But here’s the thing: Black, Latino, AAPI and Native American voters whose votes are the most suppressed under SB 202 are also the most likely to be hurt by potential boycotts of Georgia. To our friends across the country please do not boycott us. To my fellow Georgians, stay and fight, stay and vote."

In an op-ed in USA Today, Abrams wrote that the advancement of civil rights relied on economic boycotts, but cautioned that there is a downside:

"Boycotts invariably also cost jobs. To be sustainable, the pain of deprivation must be shared rather than borne by those who are least resilient. They also require a long-term commitment to action." (Abrams originally wrote the op-ed March 31, but it was updated to include those comments days after MLB’s announcement. Her initial op-ed also raised concerns about boycotts.)

Abrams told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in an article published April 1 that critics of Georgia’s new law shouldn’t rush to boycott "yet." Instead, she said that corporations should publicly condemn the law, invest in voting rights expansion and support federal legislation.

The reporter, Greg Bluestein, later tweeted that "@staceyabrams spoke to an @MLB senior adviser and ‘strongly’ urged the league to keep the All-Star game in Atlanta before the decision to yank the event."

A spokesperson for MLB told PolitiFact that on March 31 Abrams spoke with a senior league official and urged the league not to pull the game from Atlanta.

In fact, the Fox News headline in the URL says "abrams-urged-mlb-commissioner-move-all-star-game" yet she never once even MET with the commissioner.

While she didn't meet with MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, who made the announcement the game would no longer be hosted in Georgia, she reportedly spoke with a senior official ... and "strongly" urged the league not to pull the event out of Atlanta

She was against moving the All Star Game before it was announced that it would be moved. Numerous fact checks and statements and video of her being against the boycott are available. I doubt they'll change a credulous mind, though.

"To my friends across this country, *please* do not boycott us."

March 31, 3 days before MLB announced their decision.
