Where do you get the idea that whenever the Supreme Court takes up a case it means they will find for the plaintiff?

I'm no legal expert, but I thought they only take up cases where they disagree with the appellate ruling. I could be wrong.

The case we are talking about doesn't involve Trump directly. It's about a January 6th defendant, but the corruptly obstructing an official proceeding was used against this defendant as well as many others and Trump.

Smith’s contention, which is not a secret, is that the public has a right to see the evidence and the outcome of these court cases before they decide who to vote for in the election. He has put this in numerous court filings. So these guys are just trying to rile you up, and they evidently succeeded. This is on you for being so misinformed about this.

Smith is correct, BTW. These are serious charges which have a direct bearing on his ability to do the job of being president. All of what happened needs to be put out there for everyone to see.

Who is they? Honig is a CNN legal analyst. Suddenly, this opinion is valuable when you discount everything else that CNN says? This is why we don’t take you seriously. I already said I wasn’t worried, I’m not upset either. The court will figure it out and this is as it should be.

He stated the plan on CNN and talked about the motivations. I don't have to think his opinion is valuable to hear him admit what you and many democrats have claimed isn't the case.

Nope. As Honig stated in the video, the average time between indictment and trial for average conspiracy and fraud cases is 1 to 1.5 years.

Jack Smith requested only 5 months between indictment and trial and Honig said it was a much more complex.

The Detroit News article says that there was a shortfall of about 150 ballots out of over 800,000 votes cast in Wayne County. I think what that means is they had signatures from about 150 people, but no ballots. It’s possible some of them left after signing in and before voting. There was no reason to try to nullify those results. But Trump knew it would be enough to swing the entire state if he could get all those votes thrown out. And he didn’t care how he did it.

the woman canvasser lied about the content of the phone call to reporters at the time, and the man has since died. She said Trump just called to make sure she was okay.

But they never did sign off on the results, so they caved in to Trump. The MI election board ruled that their vote to accept was sufficient, and their signatures weren’t necessary.

There was no reason to suspect those results. Trump almost got away with taking away the votes of 800,000 voters in Wayne County.
