This is what Trump insisted Vice President Mike Pence not do on that day, asking Pence to instead reject electoral votes submitted by states that preferred Biden. Eventually, Vance said that’s what he would have done.


“If I had been vice president, I would have told the states, like Pennsylvania, Georgia and so many others, that we needed to have multiple slates of electors, and I think the U.S. Congress should have fought over it from there,” Vance said. “That is the legitimate way to deal with an election that a lot of folks, including me, think had a lot of problems in 2020.”

I would love the follow up..."So, you would have called the governor of Georgia and TOLD them, 'Hey, I know the constitution and the law requires you to submit your electoral certificates to congress no later than the fourth Wednesday in December, and you have already had multiple recounts and audits confirming the results of the election, as well as lawsuits challenging the results that did not change anything, but I need you to immediately send me a certificate stating that Donald Trump won your state,' is that right?"

Marjorie Taylor Greene Storms Out Of Hearing As Dem Lawmaker Puts Her On Blast​

Greene went on a lengthy rant on everything from crime in the nation’s capital to gun rights to Donald Trump to Black Lives Matter and beyond.

That was a lot,” Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said when she was done, then pointed out what he found “ironic” about Greene talking about crime in Washington, D.C.
“She literally supported an insurrection and attack on the Capitol,” Garcia said.
He said Greene “coddled” the insurrectionists when she visited them last year in jail, where she offered them handshakes and pats on the back and said they were “political prisoners.”
“They actually tried to overthrow our government,” Garcia reminded her.

That caused Greene to walk out of the hearing. She appeared to shout something as she left, but it’s not clear what she tried to say.

It's just disturbing to see how giddy these people are at the idea of gunning down their neighbors, gunning down Americans. That's where Trump has taken things.
