Right wing nuts thread

This is so typical of MAGA. If you read the article, they didn’t ask her to leave until she and her entourage had finished their meal - they passed her a discreet note saying some other patrons were uncomfortable and asking them to go ahead and leave since they were done eating. Thirty minutes later they had to send another note to remind her to please leave. So after she was asked politely she sat there for an additional 30 minutes as an FU to the other customers and staff. Her office confirmed when asked about it that they had been at the little restaurant for and hour and 15 minutes before they were ever asked to leave the first time.

MAGA are just classless, horrible people.
    Zero integrity.

Viktor Orbán is a true friend, fighter, and WINNER, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election as Prime Minister of Hungary,” Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social last month. The US president followed up with a video message to far-right leaders meeting in Budapest, describing Orbán as a “fantastic guy”.

Orbán, a long-term friend and ally of Trump, may need all the support he can gather ahead of the Hungarian parliamentary elections on 12 April. The prime minister and his Fidesz party are trailing in most opinion polls.

His main challenger, Péter Magyar, and his Tisza party are leading by nearly 10 percentage points. The public debate in Hungary has shifted dramatically: the question is no longer whether the opposition can win, but whether Orbán will accept defeat.

The significance of the Hungarian elections extends far beyond the country’s borders. Orbán has become a central figure among international authoritarian, nationalist rightwing leaders.

He articulated the concept of the “illiberal state”, laying out as early as 2014 an autocratic system grounded in aggressively nationalist and socially conservative principles within a coherent ideological framework.

More importantly for his followers, he has sought to demonstrate that such a model can, in fact, be put into practice.

During his 16 years in power, Orbán has systematically dismantled the central pillars of liberal democracy, from an independent judiciary to a free press. In 2022, the European Parliament declared that Hungary could no longer be considered a full democracy, describing the country instead as an “electoral autocracy”.

Orbán has long claimed to have won his self-declared culture war, which has made him something of a superstar within the international rightwing movement.

And it is now rallying behind its main crusader. In mid-January, a dozen of the most prominent figures of the populist nationalist right appeared in a joint video message.

They were all there: from Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Argentina’s president, Javier Milei, to the Italian prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, and the Czech prime minister, Andrej Babiš.

“Thanks to leaders such as Viktor Orbán, the camp of patriots, defenders of nations and sovereign peoples is enjoying increasing success in Europe,” declared Marine Le Pen, the former leader of France’s far-right National Rally.

Meanwhile Alice Weidel, co-leader of the far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), praised Orbán’s controversial pro-Putin stance, concluding: “Europe needs Viktor Orbán!”………..

Evita Duffy-Alfonso, the daughter of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy, argued Wednesday during an appearance on Real America’s Voice that unmarried women tend to “vote very, very poorly” — without “the security of a male.”

Duffy-Alfonso appeared on “Human Events with Jack Posobiec” to discuss rumors of a U.S. military draft, after the Army raised its maximum enlistment age from 35 to 42 amid President Donald Trump’s war on Iran, and his plummeting support among Gen Z voters.

When asked why young men and women are “turning the other way,” Duffy-Alfonso argued that these aren’t the demographics Trump needs to worry about — and that the supposed concern is married men, unmarried men and married women versus unmarried women, in particular.

“And if you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense, just intuitively,” the 26-year-old conservative commentator told Posobiec. “If you’re an unmarried woman, what are you looking for in your life most of all? What is missing? It’s the security of a male.”

She continued, “And so young women and unmarried women, especially, are saying, looking at the Democratic Party, which is entirely based off of offering free things and social programs, and they say, ‘That’s my party. That’s what I want to go towards.’”

Duffy-Alfonso concluded, “And so they vote very, very poorly.”..............

    =====================

A federal judge in Tyler dismissed a lawsuit on Tuesday that sought to allow churches to endorse political candidates without losing their tax-exempt status, dealing a blow to the Trump administration and other conservatives who have worked to eliminate the decades-old law barring nonprofits from supporting political office seekers.

Several Texas churches and national Christian groups brought the lawsuit challenging the Johnson Amendment, as it’s commonly known, arguing that their religious beliefs compelled them to speak to their congregations about all aspects of life, including electoral politics. Prohibiting electioneering from the pulpit in order to maintain their tax exemption was a violation of their First Amendment rights, the plaintiffs argued in their lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service.

In the final days of the Biden administration, the Department of Justice sought to dismiss the case. The Trump administration not only revived it, but sided with the plaintiffs. The two sides asked the judge to approve a deal in which the IRS agreed to not enforce the Johnson Amendment against these churches.

This would have been a landmark ruling, empowering pastors to more aggressively push politics through the church and undercutting the requirement that has been a mainstay of the U.S. tax code since 1954. It is named after then-Texas Sen. Lyndon Johnson, who first proposed the law.............

network of militant neo-Nazi active clubs from around the US has been participating in riot-style combat events with other white nationalist groups in Virginia as part of what their founder called a “tip-off point for a fascist cultural revolution”.

Social media posts and group chats show members of so-called active clubs from Texas, Tennessee and Pennsylvania have in recent weeks and months travelled to Lynchburg, Virginia to train together at a secretive compound. The compound is run by the Wolves of Vinland, which the civil rights watchdog the Southern Poverty Law Center identifies as a neopagan white nationalist hate group. Also present were members of the white supremacist hate group Patriot Front and the neo-Nazi skinhead group known as the Hammerskins.

Active clubs, a loose network of localized white supremacist groups, were founded by the violent neo-Nazi Robert Rundo, who served jail time in 2024 for conspiring to stage riots at California political rallies.

Experts have warned that these groups, which mix rightwing extremism with fitness and combat sports to recruit and radicalize members of communities across the US, pose a potential public danger.

A Guardian investigation found that participants in the Virginia gatherings included a Georgia-based licensed school teacher, a one-time West Virginia police officer who now runs a grappling gym catering to small children, a Tennessee emergency medical technician, the son of a prominent Maine anti-abortion activist, and the owner of a Vermont dog-walking business.……..
