More than a month after House Republicans surprised Washington by advancing their framework for Trump’s $4.5 trillion in tax breaks and $2 trillion in spending cuts, Senate Republicans voted Thursday to start working on their version. The largely party-line vote, 52-48, sets the stage for a potential Senate all-nighter Friday spilling into the weekend.

What are you getting at with this question? Do you think the November 2026 election is going to be substantially different from previous elections that Democrats have won? If yes, then what specifically do you expect to be substantially different about the November 2026 election?

Two years from now, when there's a group of ICE clowns at every polling station harassing everybody who isn't a white male, let's not act like we didn't see that coming.

This may be true, yet not certain. I’ve got a friend who lives there, an ex-Pat Brit who washed his hands of the UK and seems very content.
There are always people who can manage to live contently while everything's burning down for everyone else. The legend that Nero fiddled comfortably while Rome burned is an example of that. There were lots of people who lived contently in the Soviet Union before, during and after it's complete collapse.

How much National debt are they juggling? I will acknowledge if there is a house of cards, it’s the environment and the coming climate crisis from Mother Nature railing against our short sightedness.
The national debt is less important to the stability of a country than having enough food for everyone. China is on a razor's edge in that regard. Also, just like we and a lot of the are reliant on China's cheap goods, they also rely on the world buying those cheap goods. They also have the climate and environmental issue you mentioned.

The house of cards analogy is that the house stands on it's own just fine, but the slightest unexpected disturbance sends the whole thing crashing down.

That may happen, but it also might not happen. Early voting and mail in voting makes that more difficult to effectively pull off. States and local governments can intervene if they choose. I think you underestimate how much unity their would be against that and how effective unity can be to prevent it. Bullies back down almost every time.

Then there's the Musk wildcard. Musk knows that if Trump gets total control, like you are suggesting, then Musk is cooked. Musk will use all of his powerful resources to make sure that Trump doesn't steal total power and that his Republicans don't keep control of both chambers of Congress. He won't be doing it to protect us, he'll being doing it to save his own arse. That's a very powerful motivator.

If Trump and the Republicans do steal the election in the way you say, then the stolen election won't be as big a problem as the social strife or civil war that will quickly follow. Our society will rip itself apart. I don't know who will come out on top, but it won't be Trump and his Republicans because they have turned the hearts and minds of most active and veteran soldiers against them.

Know Ivanka Trump personally, do you?
She and her family have been encamped to a $24 million mansion on Indian Creek Island, a village in Miami. Been there for several years. years. Her hubby’s investment firm’s offices are in Miami. So, yes a Miami socialite. And now you’re up to date.

Some of that is kind of insider information. So, I'll ask you again and hopefully you actually answer it this time.
