During his Friday appearance in Iowa, Ramaswamy accused Pressley, the first Black woman elected to represent Massachusetts in Congress, of racism and compared her to “modern grand wizards” of the Ku Klux Klan for comments she made in 2019, saying: “We don’t need any more Black faces that don’t want to be a Black voice.” Pressley clarified her remarks at the time, noting on social media that she “speaking to the collective impact of lifting up one’s lived experience, *whatever* that is.”

Pressley, a progressive elected to the House in 2018, shot back on Saturday, calling the comments “harmful.”

Unlike the IT world, the Indian Mafia can't help you in far-right politics, Vivek. Have fun!

Statements like those seem to work very well among the GOP voter; they seem to enjoy them even more when they come from someone with dark skin.

I like the one where he says 18-25 year olds should have their voting rights suspended, until they can be reeducated and then tested to determine if they are capable to vote.

But being a Hindu, he's got no chance.

If he ever becomes a real threat, i'm sure someone will start running ads painting him as a Soros plant.

In 2010, Ramaswamy received the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans when he was 24, which helped him pursue a Juris Doctor in Law at Yale University. This fellowship was named after George Soros’s older brother, Paul Soros, a Hungarian-born American businessman and philanthropist, often called “the invisible Soros.”
