I saw and posted a very upset GOP platform delegate who said that was true - they basically took away every delegate’s voice in the platform and didn’t allow questions or comments.

Think about this - Trump did it because he thinks it helps him win not because of any of his beliefs. He betrayed the anti-abortion people, he also betrayed Evangelicals and pro-gun people. (Guns aren’t mentioned in your tweet, and he doesn’t link the article so I cannot read it, but when I scanned the platform it never mentioned the 2nd Amendment that I recall). These are reasons some groups of supporters are angry with Trump now.

If he would betray those principles that people who have supported him so fervently for 8 years hold so dear, there isn’t anyone he wouldn’t betray. Nobody should ever place any trust in a man like that.

The state of both parties is bothsidesism. There is little to no impact by the so-called extreme left in the Democratic Party. There has been no legislation put forth to nationalize any industry. Has there been calls for letting people live how they want, love who they want? You bet.

The extremism has come completely from the MAGA, period. Throw in Project 2025 and the loyalty demands for Trump personally and then please explain how that is not an order of magnitude more extreme.

Yeah, the idea that the Democrats are controlled by far left or that Biden's policies are far left, is quite boggling to say the least. It's only the maga/Republicans decrying such things and spreading FUD to make a certain segment of people believe things that aren't true

This shouldn’t be glossed over, IMO. He says “crazy Nancy Pelosi” while making three hammer motions. Worse than when he mocked the disabled reporter, IMO.
