This organisation and its reach is seriously scary. When the head of the New York Police Department's second-largest police union openly shows his support of this "organisation" then something is seriously wrong!

The head of the New York Police Department's second-largest police union gave a television interview Friday afternoon while sitting in front of a mug emblazoned with QAnon imagery and slogans.

The mug behind Mullins featured the word "QANON" and the hashtag #WWG1WGA, which stands for "where we go one, we go all," a popular slogan among QAnon supporters. At the center of the mug was a large letter Q, which refers to a supposed government insider who, according to QAnon supporters, posts cryptic clues on the Internet about the "deep state."

More than a year ago, the FBI reportedly assessed that QAnon was a dangerous movement that was likely to inspire its most extreme members to commit violent acts of domestic terrorism.

In recent weeks, QAnon supporters have been posting videos of themselves reciting an oath and repeating the "where we go one, we go all" catchphrase that is seen on the mug. They say they are preparing "digital soldiers" for an apocalyptic reckoning, when thousands of "deep state" pedophiles will be arrested and prosecuted at military courts at Guantanamo Bay.

Marxism is a social, political, and economic philosophy named after Karl Marx, which examines the effect of capitalism on labor, productivity, and economic development and argues for a worker revolution to overturn capitalism in favor of communism

BLM- Rogue cops hunting black people in the streets. Defund the Police train wreck that is still unfolding. Turns out "defund' really meant 'reimagine'? The reality is this group is not an organization looking out for black Americans. If it was, it would not have started the 'defund the police' gimmick that has a measurable negative impact on the black communities. In reality, they are a Marxist group that uses word play and misinformation in order to get the response needed to
@Farb Yeah, you're going to have to go ahead and show how what you said Marxists is jives with the actual definition of Marxism. Take your time.

Short of killing them, what do you propose?
Seriously? How do you leap from what I said to this? Why are you asking me a question that is completely baseless, irrationally loaded and emotionally charged?

The fact stands that we've held those who spread lies and conspiracies responsible for the actions of those who do illegal things in their name. Manson has been in prison for decades for this exact reason. This is nothing new. Several people have committed crimes in the name of QAnon which warrants an investigation into who is behind the QAnon conspiracies. We shouldn't have to wait until someone commits the crime of murder to investigate. We need to be proactive on this. No one has to be killed or have their thoughts policed.

We desperately need to fix the education and mental health systems in this country. Nothing else that we might do will matter if we don't fix both of those issues immediately.

What I'm saying is despite all we do, I don't think we'll ever eliminate them. I agree with most all of this. I even said earlier we need to educate ourselves better and acquire better critical thinking skills. The problem is we're emotional beings and all kinds of people will appeal to that emotional rather than rational side.

If QAnon and other groups are directly responsible for terrorist of violent acts. If that can be proven true, they can be prosecuted for that. You can't yell fire in a crowded building or incite a riot. So by that same token a group inciting violence should be held accountable. That said, if they don't incite violence, but simply peddle in conspiracy theories that might cause people to do weird stuff, that's a bit more of a gray area.

I didn't intend to be hyperbolic as much as ask the question of what to do in response. How do we police groups like QAnon. Another poster was say something much more aggressive than what you're suggesting so I was crossing 2 different conversations in my head.

Pizzagate led directly to a QAnon believer storming a pizza place with a gun.

    Does that count?

Some of the founders of BLM said they were trained Marxist and organizers. Does that mean all members and supporters are marxist, no that would be stupid, but it is also stupid to argue that the founders principle don't have any bearing on a groups values. Their 'what we believe' page, before it was cleaned up, laid out many beliefs that leaned heavily. Do I expect them to come out and say it, no, just like I wouldn't expect Q to come out and say they were all crazy.
If they are not and someone has proof, actual proof, not just the 'mostly false' crap, my mind can be changed. I don't care to die on hill about some crack pot movement creators origin story.

If Q is responsible for the wack job that did pizzagate then BLM is more than responsible for the uptick in police officer assassinations. One side also had some crazy try and kill senators during a baseball practice because he thought they were going to end everyone's healthcare and everyone was going die. That wasn't Q. If one side's crazies incites violence by words then so does the other sides crazy. It only rational, right?

Also, the reason I am working on BLM here is because they are an actual group. They have management if you will. Antifa is just a bunch of anarchists and socialist running around playing 'revolution' in between the D&D sessions. (and yes, you can have an anarchists and a socialist part of the same movement, it not that hard to comprehend.)

If Q is responsible for the wack job that did pizzagate
Who would be responsible for the whack-job that did pizzagate if not for the organization who said the owners of the pizza place were running a pedophile ring in the basement, which led to someone who listend to that organization storming the building?

Are you suggesting that Q is NOT responsible for pizzagate?

    uptick in police officer assassinations.

Antifa is just a bunch of anarchists and socialist

It is literally impossible to be both of these things.

(and yes, you can have an anarchists and a socialist part of the same movement, it not that hard to comprehend.)

You cannot be anarchist and socialist just like you cannot be anarchist and capitalist or anarchist and fascist or anarchist and communist.

    noun
belief in the abolition of all government and the organization of society on a voluntary, cooperative basis without recourse to force or compulsion.

Two of the founders of the first branch of BLM did categorize themselves as “trained Marxists”. Of course that means nothing since BLM is a decentralized organization with no national chapter or leadership and you’d be lucky to find 10 people associated with BLM that even know their name. The communist / Marxist stuff is the primary means of going after civil rights figures and organizations. MLK was called a communist too. It’s a tale as old as time.

They could at least come up with some original tactics to discredit people calling for racial equality.

Marxism, above all else, is a materialistic and atheistic/antireligion philosophy of the human person. The economic part is largely secondary as an explanation of suffering. It can be transposed into other forms such as identity politics and continue to function.

As for "q anon", I'm sure most would see my sources of media and personal philosophies as pretty conservative or right wing, even if I would have disagreement with that description. Fwiw, I have literally never been presented with or read a single article about it. :Shrugs:

Who do you think gets the attention for blm references and tags? Where does the money go for donations? Do they not have a specifically antichristian, anti family and socialist creed? Are they not calling for action and payment for the black vote from Biden? Sure, I don't think most people who say the phrase are aware of the organization explicitly, but that doesn't make it any less relevant or real.

Additionally, your claims regarding mlk are false equivalence. He was clearly not a communist/marxist if you've read any of his writings as many of us have. Yet you can, up until a few weeks ago when they removed the page, go to the blm website and read these things for yourself. So previous false accusations of communism/marxism does not negate actual claims to it today. Additionally, not to pick nits, but it's not a timeless tactic as marxism is not that old despite it's terrible effects on recent history.

I don’t think there is a single entity called BLM, though. As SBTB said, I believe they are individual chapters with local control. I never saw the website you are referencing, but the one I did see was decidedly pro-family and expressly non-violent. I saw nothing remotely anti-Christian.

I suppose people will believe what they want to believe and see what they want to see, though.

    from Wiki:

“While there are specific organizations like the Black Lives Matter Global Network that label themselves simply as "Black Lives Matter", the Black Lives Matter movement is comprised of a broad array of people and organizations. The slogan "Black Lives Matter" itself remains untrademarked by any group.[7] The broader movement and its related organizations typically advocate against police violence towards black people as well as for various other policy changes considered to be related to black liberation.[8]

We’ve been down this road before. We aren’t going to cover any new ground this time.
