Some idiot started a Go Fund Me with a goal of $365M, I kid you not.

edit to add: in a really rich irony, it is against Go Fund Me’s terms of service, lol

The person who started it is the wife of Grant Cardone, himself worth 2.6b dollars.

But they aren't putting up a dime. Instead, pleading to MAGAs to fund it.

    The grift continues....lol

Truck drivers who support former president Donald Trump have voiced that they won’t be driving to New York City to underscore their disappointment with the civil fraud judgment that fined Mr Trump more than $350m.

On 16 February, Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Mr Trump, his two sons, Trump Organization associates and Trump properties were liable for tens of millions of dollars. While Mr Trump — and his companies and his trust — were ordered to pay over $350m plus interest, his sons were also ordered to payroughly $4m.

Many truck drivers across the country have seemingly taken issue with the ruling.

A man known online as Chicago Ray posted a video on X following the decision: “I’ve been on the radio talking to drivers for about the past hour and I’ve talked to about 10 drivers” He added that truckers are going to “stop refusing loads starting on Monday.”

“I don’t know how far across the country this is or how many truckers are going to start denying loads going to New York City, but I’ll tell you what — you f*** around and find out,” he said.

“We’re tired of you f***ing leftists f***ing with Trump,” he continued, while wearing a Trump-branded cap. “Our bosses ain’t going to care if we deny the loads. We’ll just go somewhere else, alright? You know how f***ing hard it is to get into New York City in one of these [vehicles]?”……..

And, that guy has deleted his posts and abandoned this brain dead idea of trying to get truckers to sacrifice their jobs or livelihoods for a supposed billionaire who cares nothing about them. The “find out” phase came quickly for Chicago Ray, lol.

Aaaand that ploy lasted all of 48hrs.

Chicago Ray has reversed his position.

    Guess he needed that J O B.

They're pretty much domestic terrorists, that is all.

Oh my, Trump tried just changing the business addresses to FL? 🤣🤣🤣

So...respond to fraud judgement with more fraud? Maybe I'm wrong, but idk. Seems like he's trying to escape accountability here.
That's surprising or something? He committed repeated fraud with the special monitor while the trial was going on.

The judge saw it and called him out. You can’t just change the addresses of businesses to try to say they aren’t NY businesses. It’s classic Trump, dirty and stupid at the same time.

Former President Donald Trump’s attorney Wednesday demanded the chance to propose a “counter-judgement” in his client’s $355 million civil fraud trial, court records show.

Clifford Robert filed a letter in the New York City civil court addressed to Justice Arthur Engoron complaining of the landmark ruling that also banned Trump from doing business in the state for three years.

Robert argues Trump was “deprived” the chance to speak out against the ruling before it was filed.

“Because the decision ordinarily entails more complicated relief, the instruction contemplates notice to the opponent so that both parties may either agree on a draft or prepare counter proposals to be settled before the court,” Robert argues.

“Defendants therefore request that the Court set a return date for the Proposed Judgment that affords Defendants sufficient time to submit a proposed counter-judgment.”

Robert signs his letter with a “respectfully,” which represents a sharp shift in tone from the outraged noticehe sent Engoron earlier this month accusing the judge of “unprecedented, inappropriate and troubling” antics.

Engoron slapped back to that message with a scathing letter of his own in which he called Robert’s letter “completely out of bounds.”

“You and your co-counsel have been questioning my impartiality since the early days of this case, presumably because I sometimes rule against your clients,” Engoron wrote.

“That whole approach is getting old.”.........

..........Trump also argued in his social media post that the “case should never have been brought” because the judge mistakenly valued Mar-a-Lago at just $18 million.

Trump wrote, “The corrupt A.G., Letitia James, convinced the Judge that Mar-a-Lago is only worth $18,000,000 when, in fact, it may be worth 50 to 100 times that amount. Based on their fake lowball number, the Judge ruled that I committed Fraud.”

In his order, Judge Engoron noted, “From 2011-2021, the Palm Beach County Assessor appraised the market value of Mar-a-Lago at between $18 million and $27.6 million.”

A real estate broker who specializes in high-value properties in Palm Beach told the court he believed the property was worth $1.5 billion, though Engoron said that opinion was offered “without relying on any objective evidence” and was, ultimately, “unpersuasive.”

Numerous real estate experts have questioned the judge’s reliance on the property tax assessments, noting that assessed values and market values are often very different. Some put the value at closer to $300 million.

In court on Oct. 2, Trump lawyer Alina Habba claimed that “we have experts, renowned experts, who have said that properties like Mar-a-Lago are worth over a billion dollars, $1.5 billion, and I assure you that there is a person out there that would buy that property, that spectacular property, for way over a billion dollars.”

In his Sept. 26 order, Engoron said Trump overvalued the property at between $427 million and $612 million. Engoron said those values didn’t account for land use restrictions on the property.

In court on Oct. 2, Engoron said that in his earlier order he noted, “I’m not valuing or evaluating properties.”

“Please, press, stop saying that I valued it at $18 million,” Engornon said. “That was a tax assessment. Or, something in that range. There would have been issues of fact as to what the value was.”.......
