    I am surprised there is not already a post about this. I am sure there are a lot of political comments to be made about this. My feeling is there needs to be something changed to restrict foreigners for doing harm to Americans.

    This hits close to home being we live just across the border in Alabama. The training planes fly over our house almost daily. I am wondering how many of these planes have Saudi's on them. Where I live at (RV Resort) about a third of my neighbors are retired military and go the base a lot. The Walmart that we go to is right outside one of the base gates.

    My nephew-in-law (Captain-Air Force) took my wife and I on a tour there last summer just prior to being sent to Hawaii. They were at Pearl Harbor when that shooting happened.
     
    Well, let's bring this a little closer to home.

    As the crow flies it looks like I live about 3000 feet from the front gate to NAS. We were awaken to the sirens and it took 20 minutes to get out of our neighborhood to get the kid to school. A client is living in temp base housing and was stuck there all day despite needing follow up to surgery he had 2 days prior. One of the guys in the hospital was a coach at a HS where one of my team works with him daily and he happens to be the son in law of one of our suppliers.

    It doesn't even seem real, but we've BS'd ourselves into being at war with Iran and spent trillions in Iraq and Afghanistan while the Saudis are the actual terrorists.

    The Saudi's are the rich muslims that buy up entire floors at Trump's hotels without actually staying there. The Saudi's are the rich muslims that use proxy donors to funnel mass quantities of money to Trump's inauguration. The Saudi's are the rich muslims that bought the entire 45th floor of Trump Tower. The Saudi's are the rich muslims that have bought and paid for Trump and his minion Kushner.

    If we want to play the counterfactual here goes:
    If Trump were to come down hard on Saudi Arabia then it further opens up the Kingdom to influence from Russia, and the move would be condemned as Trump playing the minion of Putin.

    How about we hear it for our liberal gun laws that allow foreign nationals to legally purchase guns in the US. Yay for America's gun addiction that allows for these atrocities to happen almost without effort.

    Funny that the one area where the right wing are raging liberals has to do with gun laws. It's like Christmas with Oprah, You get a gun, You get a gun, everybody gets a gun! Woohoo!

    He does kind of look like Jay Chandrasekhar (at least the stache that is) from Super Troopers, they could have named him Thorny instead.

    Edit: To make sure this isn't taken in the wrong light, I wanted to make more of a comment in this reference. Do the Saudis have tests for allowing pilots into their flight programs? I'm sure they do, just like we do right? It just seems that if this guy honestly did just "snap" over name calling level teasing, he shouldn't have been anywhere near such a program. That's like, freshman in high school level name calling and he went directly to murder for it?

    I cannot imagine that he got several of his classmates to go along with a scheme to kill several people over a nickname he didn’t like. Does anyone else believe that?

    Heard on the radio that this is officially being investigated as a terrorist attack.

    You're right, it's a no-win situation. But it's a corner Trump painted himself into.

    BTW.. How many Cops have been gunned down this past week in Assassinations, three, four, five??? Media outrage, people outrage? Zero...

    But hey.. Use a Saudi shooting to bash Trump.... Perfect... It's the Liberal thing to do...
