Anxiety surges as Donald Trump may be indicted soon: Why 2024 is 'the final battle' and 'the big one'

WASHINGTON – It looks like American politics is entering a new age of anxiety, triggered by an unprecedented legal development: The potential indictment of a former president and current presidential candidate.

Donald Trump's many legal problems – and calls for protests by his followers – have generated new fears of political violence and anxiety about the unknowable impact all this will have on the already-tense 2024 presidential election

I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. The man is actually advocating violence (not the first time). And btw, screw democracy too. If this feeling spreads, we are In deep shirt.

This goes beyond one treasonous Peice of work and out to all his minions. This is on you or should we be sympathetic to the idea of they can’t help being selfish suckers to the Nation’s detriment? Donald Trump is the single largest individual threat to our democracy and it‘s all going to boil down to will the majority of the GOP return to his embrace and start slinging his excrement to support him?

And millions of voters voted for her due to her gender and skin color. I voted for her for no other reason than I didn’t want trump.
Millions did vote for her for the same reasons you did, and millions of others voted against her because "she" and "black". Fwiw, I voted both for her and against Trump. I had no issues with her being a black woman.

    Remember these guys?

Taylor, the former chief of staff of the Department of Homeland Security, penned an anonymous op-ed in The New York Times criticizing Trump’s character from the perspective of a staffer inside the administration. He revealed that he wrote the piece in 2020.

Trump claimed mainstream media networks such as CNN and MNBC, frequent targets of his scorn, intentionally lift up Taylor’s critiques to bolster their audience.
Christopher Krebs, the Department of Homeland Security director who had spearheaded a campaign to counter rumors about voter fraud, has been fired, President Trump tweeted on Tuesday.

Trump, in two misleading tweets about the security of the U.S. election, said Krebs' termination was "effective immediately."

Well, His Highness does and he's sending his lawyer, Pam Bondi, after them for TREASON!

    Defend this action!

That view is incredibly short-sighted and frankly it's absolutely relevant.
I would not support hiring someon foran important job if I didnt believe they werethebright prson for the position. Period. Where the rank among other among other contenders is irrelvant to me. It may be relevant to you. So you spend your vote as you choose and I will do the same.

He absolutely does. Just says it semantically to have deniability

We know who he is behind the semantics.

Not that hard to ferret out - they all usually let slip their true selves at some point. Just gotta be patient.
    Obviously

just because gender and skin color factor into your thought process you assume it factors into everybody else‘s. Its all you got.

And we are back into your fantasy world. At no point have you ever been able to articulate a reason why you view Kamala as unqualified.
Other than the fact that she is a progressive democrat from the most progressive state in the union and I disagree with her on the border and immigation, on education and public schools, on parental rights, on taxation and economic policy, on the judiciary, debt and deficit, defense and foreign policy, I cant think of single thing. That and the fact she was pretty much the first candidate to drop out when she ran for the top spot 4 years ago and did little to nothing to distinquish herself as VP. She failed to connct with many that traditionally make up her base.

I asked many tines during the campaign why I should vote for her and pretty much all I heard was “she‘s better than Trump”. Its been pretty much what is repeated everytime te subject is raised and has been repeted numerous times in this thread. I didnt vote for Trump so to tell me she is better than isnt setting the bar all that high.

I may not like Trump but that does not mean Ibwould be willing to turn leadership over to someone on the far left.

Finally, she has been part and parcel in the purposeful gaslighting of the public regarding the cognitive decline of Biden.

Maybe she checked all your boxes but she didnt check mine and obviously she didnt convince millions of others.

No sir it's all you got.
I dont really think that way. You brought it up so obviously its top of mind in your head. So such things are important to you. Its how you view the world and you assume everyone else sees thebworld as you see it. You arent capable of anything else. Its your shortcoming. You should work on that.

Presume much? Maybe try on some self awareness.

Let's pick one and go with... taxation and economic policy. Which of her tax and economy positions did you disagree with the most?

A global trade-war rollercoaster was not enough to distract Donald Trump from fulfilling one of his longtime priorities on Wednesday: changing the federal definition of “shower head”, a move the White House said would “end the Obama-Biden war on water pressure”.

Trump has complained for years about inadequate water pressure in American showers, sinks and toilets, and has blamed federal water-conservation standards for the problem.

“In my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair,” Trump said as he signed the executive order, which the White House said would apply to multiple household appliances, including toilets and sinks. “I have to stand under the shower for 15 minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip. It’s ridiculous.”

The White House said in a statement on the executive order: “By restoring shower freedom, President Trump is following through on his commitment to dismantle unnecessary regulations and put Americans first.”

Some appliance experts have found Trump’s continued focus on American water pressure notable.……..
