I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. The man is actually advocating violence (not the first time). And btw, screw democracy too. If this feeling spreads, we are In deep shirt.

This goes beyond one treasonous Peice of work and out to all his minions. This is on you or should we be sympathetic to the idea of they can’t help being selfish suckers to the Nation’s detriment? Donald Trump is the single largest individual threat to our democracy and it‘s all going to boil down to will the majority of the GOP return to his embrace and start slinging his excrement to support him?

This is disturbing, though sadly not surprising. The signs have been there for years. Many dismissed my concerns as exaggeration, but the events of the past two years have strongly reminded me of my grandfather's diary from his time in Germany during the 1930s.

My hope is that our institutions are stronger than 1930s Germany, but with the monied interests bending the knee, it is starting to seem grimly similar. It may take a war against America by Europeans and other allies to fix this. What will be our Reichstag fire-like incident that Trump can use to blame and arrest his opponents?

Indeed! Hitler was able to achieve what he did with only 37% of the German votes! Trump got about 52% of the vote, so we may be in worse shape than 1930s Germany!

My guess, A Trump assasination...

The people behind him no longer need him, and if it turns out to be a Canadian or Mexican, they already have the excuses they need. He would make a fitting sacrificial lamb now, especially since his followers were the ones who put him and his henchmen in power. However, his unpredictability and jealousy of anyone else receiving attention make him a liability.
