I figured we needed a thread specifically about the media.

There was a very big correction recently by the Washington Post.

That story was supposedly "independently confirmed" by CNN, NBC News, USA Today, ABC News, & PBS News Hour. How could they all have gotten the quote wrong if they actually independently confirmed the story?

Why do all the errors always go in one political direction and not closer to 50/50?

This is completely disinformation, not surprised you believe it. If it fits your internal narrative you will just lap it up and never give it a thought. [Mod Edit :nono: Personal - Name Calling]

Everybody has their blind spot - Collins seems to be this war. He doesn’t have a consistent agenda though, unlike your buddies - who just mindlessly pander to the RWNJs.

He does have a consistent agenda...censorship along with Brandy Zadrozny. I think it's hilarious that the "misinformation" reporter got caught pushing misinformation.

He did qualify the statement by stating "Palestinian Officials Claim". So that's not exactly misinformation, they did say that. Also, to my knowledge, there isn't an official death toll from the hospital bombing, so we don't know how many died.

What's all the consternation about? You just need to know how to process information and think critically to properly give that tweet the weight it deserves.

Maybe give what you just said some actual thought. Coldseat explained it for you so you have a head start.

He didn't qualify the statement. Collins only said "A Hospital." The article's headline said "Palestinian Officials Claim."

The misinformation(censorship) reporter got caught spreading misinformation. 😆 It just doesn’t get any better than that.

    Uh hu ... 😐

I don't even know who that guy is, but you and your gotcha's are just silly. Talk about no there, there.

    Here's a question for you.

This is the headline: "Israel-Hamas war: At least 500 people killed in hospital bombing in Gaza, Palestinian officials claim"

Was a hospital actually bombed in this instance or is that a lie?

Example number 1,256,780 that the press doesn’t have a bias against Republicans - this absolute puff piece on a very radical weirdo that the GOP just gave the Speaker’s gavel to:

Another time where MSM just blindly accepted a corporate statement. To be fair, I did read some pieces that pointed out that Target was leaving stores open that had bigger theft problems than the ones they closed. It now appears that theft wasn’t even really any sort of issue in the stores’ closing. This hasn’t stopped Grassley from trying to enact a “retail theft” law. Needless legislation, IMO. The thread shows the data.

To the credit of RCP, it does make the observation. Just several paragraphs down in the article. I’m not sure what would be beneficial to stop publicly traded corps while allowing other entities free rein.

“The Hawley legislation would ban publicly traded corporations from making independent expenditures and giving to Super PACs while prohibiting them from cutting political ads or engaging in “other electioneering communications.” Ironically, however, it would not stop the conservative group that upended modern election law. Citizens United is itself a non-profit and, therefore, wouldn’t be affected.”
