This is worrisome. I saw tweet threads about NATO fleet in the Mediterranean. China, Russia, and Iran could decide to send their fleets for a “peace keeping” mission to “protect” the Palestinian people.

HAMAS may in the end fail in any goals we see now through the fog of war, but it's main goal(s)? Time will tell. Many wars that have been won, had a history of battles lost along the way.

Airstrikes hit the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza

Arafat Abu Mashaia, who lives in the camp, said the Israeli airstrike flattened several multi-story homes where people forced out of other parts of Gaza were sheltering.

“It was a true massacre,” he said while standing on the wreckage. “All here are peaceful people. I challenge anyone who says there were resistance (fighters) here.”

What is missing is a fact check on if there were any HAMAS fighters hiding amongst the Palestinian civilian population. Nay times often under the population, in the tunnels. I ask this, not because I am a fan of the Israeli campaign, but because of past history. HAMAS uses civilians as shields. It's a strategy that often helps their fighters at the expense of innocent Palestinian lives and factual truths.

They need equally as much protection from Hamas, IMO. Hamas will gladly martyr every palestinian civilian to achieve the destruction of Israel and all the people living there.

Please. HAMAS is a terrorist organization whose goals are reprehensible. HAMAS sees the population in the Gaza Strip as useful tools. HAMAS themselves are Palestinians, and there exists many Palestinians not living in the Gaza Strip.
